NEW DELHI: The BYD ATTO 3 costs Rs 24,99,000 for Dynamic, Rs 30,35,000 for Premium and Rs 34,49,000 for Superior on the company's current India price page. The three listed versions divide the electric SUV range between two battery sizes, with the larger battery shared by the upper trims.

Read the battery step separately from the trim step

Price as of 28 October 2026, 15:39 IST. These are the ex-showroom figures published against each variant, rather than an on-road quotation. BYD's model-specific page also confirms the entry price. The table covers all three variants named in its current national electric-car price listing.

The important detail is the middle row. Premium reaches the same advertised battery capacity and ARAI-tested range as Superior. Moving to the most expensive ATTO 3 therefore does not buy a larger battery on this official comparison. That makes the equipment difference a separate question from the distance the car is certified to cover.

Dynamic is a different proposition because it uses the smaller pack. Its lower entry price is accompanied by a different certified range, rather than simply fewer cabin extras. An Indian household comparing the variants should keep those two decisions separate when reading a quotation: the battery specification and the equipment specification.

The ATTO 3 brochure quotes motor output of 150 kW and 310 Nm. Those are powertrain specifications, not measures of cabin space or luggage capacity. Together with the published dimensions, they explain why a family comparison needs several separate questions: how the car fits the parking space, how it carries passengers and bags, and how its driving characteristics suit the person at the wheel.

BYD also identifies an electric-only architecture, e-Platform 3.0, on the product page. That gives the ATTO 3 a different design starting point from a car whose description begins with an engine choice. It still leaves the household-use questions to be answered by the particular vehicle and its specification.

A distinctive cabin inside a conventional family footprint

BYD's India brochure gives the ATTO 3 a length of 4,455 mm, width of 1,875 mm and wheelbase of 2,720 mm. It lists a 440-litre boot, expanding to 1,340 litres with the rear seats folded. These measurements help place the car in a family-use context more clearly than the badge or the price alone.

For a household moving from a smaller hatchback, the width deserves attention during a parking-space check. For someone carrying luggage regularly, the distinction between normal boot capacity and the seats-folded figure matters just as much. The larger number describes a different seating arrangement, so it should not be read as luggage space available with everybody aboard.

The manufacturer's product page describes a cabin built around fitness and music themes. Grip-shaped door handles and string elements on the door trim are unusually specific design choices. They give the ATTO 3 an identity beyond its battery specification, although whether that treatment feels appealing is a matter for the occupants.

Charging figures need their conditions attached

The brochure advertises DC charging from zero to 80% in 50 minutes under stated charging conditions. It also warns that electricity supply, charger specification and outdoor temperature can alter the result. That is a charging-session claim, rather than a promise that every public stop will take the same time.

There is a further wrinkle in the range figures. The brochure describes different ARAI test details for the smaller and larger batteries, including different stopping criteria. The published distances are useful labels for the versions, but they do not establish a guaranteed gap between the cars on an identical real journey.

This is why the ATTO 3's price ladder needs more than a lowest-to-highest reading. The middle trim shares the upper trim's battery, while the entry car has its own range certification. A useful comparison keeps price, equipment and test conditions visible together instead of treating a higher trim name as shorthand for every improvement.
