NEW DELHI: Lava specifies a 90Hz refresh rate for the Yuva 3 Pro's 6.5-inch HD+ punch-hole screen. Those details describe different aspects of the display: refresh, size and resolution class. They should not be combined into a promise that every game or video will run at the screen's advertised refresh rate.

Read the screen description in separate parts

The refresh specification concerns how often the screen can update its image. It does not tell a reader how much fine detail a photograph contains. HD+ is the resolution description on Lava's store page, while the diagonal measurement describes the panel's physical size. Each answers a different question.

That separation matters on this particular phone because the listing places a prominent refresh figure alongside the HD+ label. A smoother-looking menu and finer text are different qualities. The product description supports quoting the published combination, but it does not support replacing HD+ with a higher resolution class.

Lava's short store description does not state a pixel count, a brightness measurement or a touch sampling rate. This report leaves those fields unfilled. Numbers from another Yuva handset would not establish them for the Pro, even if the front design looked similar in photographs.

What the processor and memory do not promise

The Yuva 3 Pro listing names a Unisoc T616 octa-core processor. That identifies the hardware behind the display, but it does not demonstrate a sustained frame rate in any particular game. The screen's refresh capability and the rate at which an application produces new frames need separate evidence.

For an Indian student moving between class messages, a downloaded document and a video lesson, the practical questions also differ. Scrolling through a page, reading small text and watching a recording are separate tasks. The 90Hz label cannot by itself establish the quality of all of them, particularly without a hands-on check of the same material.

The store prints the RAM as 8GB + 8GB*, retaining an asterisk on the added figure, and specifies 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. This report preserves that notation. Neither the memory label nor the storage capacity turns the display specification into a guaranteed application-performance result.

This makes the Yuva 3 Pro's display description useful in a precise way. It identifies a screen capable of a particular refresh rate and a stated resolution class. It is less useful as a shortcut for judging a remote lesson with small captions, a dense timetable or a game with detailed scenery. Those tasks ask different things of the display.

The camera cutout is part of the layout

Lava calls the front a punch-hole display and lists an 8MP selfie camera. It also specifies a 50MP dual AI rear camera. The front camera description helps explain the screen layout, while the rear camera figure belongs to photography. Neither changes what the HD+ label says about the panel.

The same listing mentions an AG glass back and a side fingerprint sensor. These are useful model identifiers when distinguishing a Yuva 3 Pro listing from another Yuva product. They do not supply missing display measurements, and the side sensor should not be silently described as an under-screen reader.

Lava additionally lists 18W fast charging with a Type-C USB cable. That is a separate hardware detail, with no charging-time claim made here. Keeping it separate from the screen specification avoids turning a collection of advertised features into an unsupported claim about how the whole phone performs.

Related reporting covers the Blaze 5G price list, Blaze Duo's rear display and Lava O2 versus O1. These are different devices. For the Yuva 3 Pro, the official screen description establishes size, refresh and resolution class, while a gaming or video benchmark requires separate testing.
