NEW DELHI: Lava's official store lists the Blaze 2 at Rs 8,999 and the Blaze 2 Pro at Rs 9,999, a Rs 1,000 difference. Both pages name the Unisoc T616 processor, so the Pro label should not be read as evidence of a different chipset. The clearer differences are in the listed RAM and rear camera hardware.

Price as of 2 November 2026, 00:35 IST. These are the amounts displayed on Lava's own product pages. Both pages showed sold out when checked, so this comparison records official listings rather than a promise that an order can be placed at those amounts.

What the Pro premium changes

The shared processor is the most useful starting point. A higher model suffix can suggest a broad performance upgrade, but here Lava names the same T616 on both sides. That leaves memory and camera specifications doing more of the work in explaining the price difference. No side-by-side speed test was conducted for this report.

The RAM labels also deserve careful reading. Lava separates the figures with a plus sign and marks the second number with an asterisk. This comparison preserves that distinction instead of merging each pair into an unqualified RAM total. A product label containing an additional memory figure should not erase the base figure when comparing two phones.

Storage capacity is the same in the listings. The Blaze 2 page explicitly identifies UFS 2.2, while the Pro's short description says 128GB ROM without naming a storage standard. That omission is a limit of the available description. It cannot establish either an upgrade or a downgrade in storage technology.

Camera numbers need a separate judgement

The Pro page specifies a 50MP AI triple rear camera, against the Blaze 2's 13MP dual rear camera label. Those are concrete differences in the published specifications. They do not establish how either camera handles a moving child, a dim room or a document photographed under uneven lighting.

For an Indian household using a phone to photograph receipts, school notices and family occasions, that distinction matters. A camera comparison needs readable results from those situations. A larger advertised resolution alone cannot answer whether text at the edge of a page remains clear or whether an indoor picture needs another attempt.

Readers following Lava's lower-cost range can also see the separate Lava O2 and O1 comparison. It concerns different devices and should not be used to fill gaps in the Blaze specifications.

For this pair, the useful comparison is unusually narrow: whether the extra listed RAM and changed rear camera arrangement explain the higher quoted amount. It is not a comparison between different processor families. Keeping that boundary visible prevents the Pro name from becoming a substitute for the specifications, particularly when an older product remains listed alongside newer phones.

Battery capacity does not settle endurance

Both listings give a 5,000mAh battery. The Pro description additionally specifies a Type-C port and an 18W fast charger. Its page also names Android 12. These details describe the published configuration; they are not a measured charging result or confirmation of the software installed on a particular unit today.

The regular Blaze 2 page highlights a 6.5-inch punch-hole display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its corresponding store description does not supply an equally detailed Pro display specification. This report therefore avoids declaring a display winner. A missing field on a short product page is not proof that the feature is absent.

The similarly named Blaze 5G price list covers another model. The wider Storm 5G and Shark 5G comparison provides another distinct reference. Neither changes the central finding here: the listed Pro premium accompanies different memory and camera specifications, with the processor name unchanged.
