NEW DELHI: Lava's official store lists the Blaze 5G at Rs 10,999, the Blaze 5G 6GB at Rs 11,999 and the Blaze 5G 8GB at Rs 12,999. These are three separate product listings in the same model range. The pages also show a software difference: Android 12 on the standard and 6GB listings, and Android 13 on the 8GB listing.

Three listings, with a clear memory step

The table preserves the names used by Lava's store. Its standard Blaze 5G page does not identify the memory capacity in the readable product description, so no RAM or storage figure has been assigned to that row. The separately named 6GB and 8GB pages identify their configurations explicitly.

Between those two named memory versions, the storage capacity stays the same. The additional Rs 1,000 changes the stated physical RAM capacity without increasing the listed space for files. That is the first distinction to keep in mind when reading the price ladder: a larger RAM number is not a larger storage allocation.

Lava also advertises additional memory alongside physical RAM. The 6GB page shows 6GB plus 3GB, while the 8GB page shows 8GB plus 8GB and identifies the extra amount as virtual RAM. This report uses the named physical capacities when labelling the variants, rather than presenting the combined marketing figures as installed RAM.

The processor does not change with the price

All three product descriptions identify MediaTek's Dimensity 700 processor. The higher listing price therefore does not establish a move to a different chipset. No comparative performance test was conducted for this report, and the store pages alone cannot demonstrate how much faster a particular application will run on either memory version.

The 6GB and 8GB descriptions both specify a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Widevine L1 support. Those listings describe the same display category. The extra RAM price should not be mistaken for an upgrade to an OLED panel or a higher stated screen resolution.

The software labels deserve attention

The split between Android 12 and Android 13 is unusually relevant within this price list. A family using the common Blaze 5G name to identify a replacement phone could overlook that Lava describes its memory versions differently. The precise listing and device configuration matter more than the shared branding on the back.

These are software versions stated on the store pages, not verification of the software currently installed on an individual handset. The descriptions do not establish a current security-patch date or a fresh update commitment. Anyone checking an existing unit should distinguish the store specification from the version reported by that device.

Camera details and the wider budget category

Lava lists a 50MP triple rear-camera arrangement and 2K recording with electronic image stabilisation across these pages. The standard listing additionally specifies a 5,000mAh battery, a side fingerprint scanner and face unlock. Those details describe the advertised hardware and features; they are not independent measures of photo quality or battery endurance.

The Lava Storm 5G and Shark 5G comparison covers other model names in the brand's budget range. Our Lava O2 versus O1 story examines a separate pair, and the Lava Blaze Curve price list explains another storage ladder. Those phones should not be treated as alternate labels for the Blaze configurations listed here.
