NEW DELHI: Toyota Glanza owners should mark the second free service for 5,000 km or 6 months from sale, whichever arrives first. Toyota's published schedule also lists the first and third visits. The benefit covers labour, while parts, lubricants and consumables remain chargeable, so an appointment described as free can still produce a bill.
| Glanza visit | Distance or time from sale, whichever is earlier |
|---|---|
| First free service | 1,000 km or 1 month |
| Second free service | 5,000 km or 6 months |
| Third free service | 10,000 km or 1 year |
| What is free | Service labour under the published free-maintenance provision |
Use the Glanza column on Toyota's schedule
The official table places Glanza alongside Hyryder, Rumion, Taisor and Urban Cruiser Ebella. A separate column covers other Toyota models. This distinction matters when a household has another Toyota and tries to use the same diary for both cars. Select the model column before reading across a service row.
Put the sale date beside the mileage target in your calendar. Then check which condition is approaching first. The time limit is not an alternative that owners can choose after passing the distance limit. Equally, a lightly used car should not wait indefinitely for the odometer to reach the service figure.
Before the appointment, photograph the odometer for your records and note the sale date from the vehicle documents. These are practical preparation steps. They make it easier to ask the adviser which scheduled visit is due, especially if the car has spent long periods parked or its usage has changed.
Ask what the free visit includes
Toyota's page labels these services as free labour only and says lubricants, consumables and parts are charged. Ask for the estimate to distinguish the scheduled work from any additional proposal. That turns the conversation from whether the whole service is free into which individual items require payment.
Do not treat the free-service calendar as a complete replacement schedule for every component. The owner's manual remains the place to check the maintenance work applicable to the car, including severe-use requirements. A distance in the free-service table identifies a visit; it does not establish that every fluid or filter must be replaced then.
At handover, describe any concern clearly enough for a technician to reproduce it. A note about when a noise occurs, or whether a warning appeared after starting, is more useful than a broad request to check everything. Ask for those concerns to be recorded with the service work.
The current Glanza makes vehicle identification important
Toyota's current Glanza page lists an E manual, S and G versions including CNG choices, and V and V(O) grades. Several columns offer manual and AMT combinations. The service booking should identify the actual fuel type and transmission on the car rather than relying on the Glanza badge alone.
This is particularly relevant to an owner moving from an earlier Glanza to the current range. A saved estimate or previous invoice can be useful background, but it should not become an assumed parts list for a different vehicle. Have the workshop match the maintenance requirements to the car being presented.
The equipment table also lists Service Connect vehicle-health and malfunction-indicator features on G and higher columns. Owners with that equipment can bring any recorded alert to the workshop's attention. It should supplement the complaint and inspection rather than become an owner's diagnosis of which part needs replacement.
Leave with a usable record
Before collecting the car, compare the completed work with the approved estimate. Keep the invoice and ask for the next due date and mileage to be written down. A record that separates an inspection from a replacement is more helpful at the next visit than a verbal assurance that the service is complete.
For the range update behind these equipment choices, read our Glanza CNG AMT and V(O) report. Our Taisor price list and Rumion price list cover other models grouped with Glanza on Toyota's free-service table. Each car still needs its own maintenance record.
