Price as of 26 October 2026, 14:27 IST. These are ex-showroom Delhi amounts. Each separately priced colour entry is retained, so the table shows more rows than a simple list of E, S, S+, G and V grades would suggest.

There are different kinds of automatic Taisor

The lower-priced petrol range uses a 1.2-litre engine. S and S+ offer AMT versions alongside their manuals, while the entry E petrol remains manual in the selector. The CNG version is also an E manual, giving the fuel option a clear place in the range.

The G and V entries use the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, with a five-speed manual or six-speed automatic. Toyota's product material identifies the non-turbo automatic as an automated manual transmission. Reading both simply as automatic would obscure a real mechanical distinction in the price list.

The S AMT is listed at Rs 8,94,000, whereas the G turbo AT is Rs 11,86,000. The latter combines a different engine with a different transmission and a different equipment grade. It is consequently not a straightforward gearbox surcharge on the lower-priced car.

What S+, G and V add

The brochure places LED multi-reflector headlamps and painted alloy wheels on S+ and G, with machined alloy wheels on V. Lower grades use a different lighting and wheel specification. These are useful distinctions for readers checking a showroom vehicle against the grade on its quotation.

Toyota's equipment chart lists wireless phone integration with the touchscreen from S upwards. V has the larger 22.86 cm display, a head-up display and a surround-view camera. G and V include a wireless charger and rear air-conditioning vents, while cruise control is shown for V.

The brochure also limits paddle shifters to turbo automatic versions. That is another reason not to transfer a feature from a high-grade promotional photograph to an S AMT. The badge on the boot does not by itself describe the transmission hardware or the controls fitted inside.

Fuel figures need the right engine label

The current brochure gives petrol efficiency of 21.71 km/l for the 1.2-litre manual and 22.79 km/l for the AMT. For the turbo, it lists 21.18 km/l with the manual and 19.86 km/l with the automatic. The CNG figure is 28.51 km/kg.

Those are certified figures, with Toyota warning that actual road mileage can vary. The model page's prominent efficiency number therefore should not be applied to every Taisor. In particular, the headline AMT figure is not the brochure's claim for a turbo automatic.

The Taisor has a five-seat layout and a split folding rear seat. For everyday use, that places it in a different role from a family vehicle with an additional passenger row. Folding part of the rear seat offers a way to balance passenger and luggage needs within that layout.

Standard safety and the colour entries

Toyota's safety update states that six airbags are standard across E, S, S+, G and V. It also identifies vehicle stability control, hill hold and ISOFIX child-seat mounting points. These provisions are distinct from convenience equipment such as cameras and a head-up display, which remain grade dependent.

The official list prices the displayed Cafe White, Enticing Silver and Sportin Red dual-tone V versions equally within each transmission. Those entries describe colour combinations, not additional powertrain grades. Toyota's price notice also allows prices and specifications to change.
