NEW DELHI: The Lexus RX costs Rs 90.44 lakh as the RX 350h Exquisite and Rs 1.11 crore as the RX 500h F Sport+, a difference of Rs 20.11 lakh, according to Lexus India's price list. The RX 350h price is for the version with Lexus' own audio system. With the Mark Levinson sound system, the RX 350h Exquisite costs Rs 93.87 lakh. Price as of 26 October 2026, 1 AM IST.

Lexus labels these as "From" prices and does not say on the page which city they apply to or whether they are ex-showroom figures. Registration, insurance and other charges will push the on-road price higher, so ask a dealer for a written quote.

RX 350h: the comfort hybrid

The RX 350h uses a 2.5-litre petrol engine with a self-charging hybrid system, so it never needs to be plugged in. Lexus lists 181 kW, or 247 hp, a 0 to 100 km/h time of 7.9 seconds and the E-Four electric all-wheel-drive system. It rides on 21-inch alloy wheels and, like the 500h, gets Lexus Safety System+ 3.

RX 500h F Sport+: the performance version

The RX 500h swaps in a 2.4-litre turbocharged engine with a higher-output hybrid system. The model page lists 273 kW, or 366 hp, 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds and a 210 km/h top speed, against 200 km/h for the 350h. It uses DIRECT4 all-wheel drive, a 6-speed automatic and Dynamic Rear Wheel Steering, along with F Sport styling and 21-inch F Sport wheels.

That is 92 kW more power and 1.7 seconds faster to 100 km/h for Rs 20.11 lakh more. Against the RX 350h with Mark Levinson audio, the gap narrows to Rs 16.68 lakh.

Equipment and size

The RX 350h page lists a 14-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, a panoramic glass roof, electronically latched doors, a head-up display and a 21-speaker Mark Levinson system, which is the upgrade behind the Rs 93.87 lakh price. Safety equipment includes Lexus Safety System+ 3, safe exit assist, a blind spot monitor and eight airbags.

The RX is 4,890 mm long with a 2,850 mm wheelbase and a 65-litre fuel tank, according to the specification table, so it is a full five-seat mid-size SUV rather than a stretched compact.

Both versions use nickel-metal hydride hybrid batteries, rated at 259.2 V in the RX 350h and 288 V in the RX 500h, and both charge themselves through the engine and braking. The RX 350h weighs between 1,965 kg and 2,025 kg, according to its table. The engines differ sharply on their own. The 350h's 2,487 cc engine makes 137 kW and 238 Nm, while the 500h's 2,393 cc turbo engine makes 200 kW and 460 Nm, nearly double the torque, before the electric motors are counted.

Which RX makes sense

For buyers who are chauffeur-driven or mostly drive in the city, the RX 350h is the sensible choice, and the Rs 3.43 lakh Mark Levinson upgrade is the main option to decide on. The RX 500h is for owners who drive themselves and want a quicker, sharper SUV, and it crosses the Rs 1 crore mark. Both are hybrids, so neither depends on charging infrastructure.

Lexus' smaller NX 350h starts at Rs 67.93 lakh, so the RX 350h is Rs 22.51 lakh more than the cheapest NX. For other luxury SUVs, see our Audi Q3 price story, and for a performance alternative, our BMW M2 India pre-order story.
