NEW DELHI: Suzuki lists the Burgman Street Ride Connect Edition at Rs 1,04,044 and the Ride Connect TFT Edition at Rs 1,14,820, ex-showroom Delhi. These are the two variants on the current Burgman Street city price page. The TFT version adds a colour instrument display and a keyless system while retaining the same published engine specification.

The current city listing

The prices come from the variant entries for North, Delhi. Suzuki's website also carries earlier launch material with different figures, so the current location page is the reference for this list. The older announcement remains useful for explaining equipment, but its launch amounts have not been substituted for these entries.

The scope is the current Burgman Street with Ride Connect and Ride Connect TFT editions. Suzuki lists Burgman Street EX separately in its product catalogue. Its different name and equipment package should remain separate from this two-row Street table.

Suzuki says the city-page prices include the mirror set and side stand. Extended warranty, zero-depreciation insurance and other accessories are outside that amount. Its on-road-price explanation separately identifies registration and insurance, so neither figure above represents a complete ride-away bill.

The TFT version changes access as well as instruments

The higher-priced edition has a 4.2-inch colour TFT console. The regular Ride Connect version uses monochrome instruments. Both names refer to connected scooters, so the distinction is not simply between a model with phone functions and one with none.

The keyless system is the other substantial difference. Suzuki says the TFT edition can be started and its fuel lid and storage accessed while the rider carries the remote fob. An answer-back function flashes the indicators to help identify the parked scooter.

Suzuki also describes a warning when the fob becomes disconnected. The regular Ride Connect Edition instead uses a conventional key arrangement with integrated seat and fuel-lid functions. These are different ways of accessing the scooter, rather than different engine-performance settings.

Connected functions depend on the supported model, variant and phone setup. The company's feature guide explains that Bluetooth supplies the link to a compatible smartphone through Suzuki Ride Connect. A colour screen changes the presentation of information; it does not, on its own, establish that every listed phone feature is available.

The engine and chassis figures

Both variants are listed with a 124 cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine and a CVT. Suzuki quotes peak output of 6.2 kW at 6,500 rpm and torque of 10.2 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The price step therefore does not correspond to a larger engine.

The official specification gives the Ride Connect Edition a kerb mass of 114 kg and the TFT Edition 115 kg. It also lists a 775 mm seat height and 160 mm of ground clearance. These measurements describe the scooter's physical package, without establishing how it will fit an individual rider.

A front disc and rear drum provide the braking hardware. Suzuki identifies a Combined Brake System for the Burgman Street. That description should be retained as published, without treating the word combined as an alternative name for anti-lock braking.

Storage and refuelling remain central features

Suzuki's launch explanation lists 24.6 litres of under-seat storage, front storage pockets, utility hooks and a USB charging outlet. These practical features sit alongside the dashboard options. They also give the scooter's large bodywork a functional role beyond its appearance.

The fuel tank holds 5.5 litres. A tail-mounted external fuel lid allows refuelling without lifting the seat, while the access method differs with the edition. The fuel capacity is a specification, not a promise about distance between refills, which this report has not tested.

The manufacturer also describes a side-stand interlock and a rear brake lock. The former prevents starting with the stand down; the latter helps hold the scooter stationary when stopped. They address separate aspects of everyday operation and should not be confused with the equipment that distinguishes the TFT edition.

The two prices become easier to interpret once those differences are separated: the common engine and carrying features form the base, while instruments and keyless access distinguish the higher entry. The exact edition and the Delhi location remain essential parts of the price description.
