Two engine families, several names
The table combines Suzuki's Gixxer and Gixxer 250 location pages for the same Delhi district. It keeps the Special Edition entries separate because the company assigns them their own prices. FFV is also a separate entry, rather than a colour surcharge attached to the regular SF 250.
Suzuki's general product FAQs show broader indicative ranges that differ from these district tables. The amounts above are specifically the individual Delhi entries opened for this report. They should not be read as a nationwide price guarantee or as evidence of a newly announced revision.
Both price pages state that mirrors and a side stand are included. Other accessories, extended warranty and zero-depreciation insurance are excluded. The website also distinguishes the ex-showroom amount from a final on-road total that depends on registration, insurance and other applicable charges.
Gixxer and Gixxer SF
The smaller pair uses a 155 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Suzuki lists 13.6 PS at 8,000 rpm and 13.8 Nm at 6,000 rpm, with fuel injection and a five-speed manual transmission. Those shared numbers make clear that the SF suffix does not denote a larger engine.
The visible distinction is the bodywork. Gixxer is the naked motorcycle, while Gixxer SF adds a full fairing and windscreen. Suzuki describes the pair as sharing their core engine and chassis, with their different forms providing the most immediate way to tell them apart.
Suzuki identifies single-channel ABS for this family, alongside disc brakes and LED lighting. Its product information also describes a Bluetooth-enabled console using Suzuki Ride Connect. These are published equipment details; this price report makes no independent claim about handling, braking distance or fuel economy.
What the 250 models change
The Gixxer 250 and regular Gixxer SF 250 move to an oil-cooled engine with a published displacement of 249 cc. The technical sheet quotes 26.5 PS at 9,300 rpm and 22.2 Nm at 7,300 rpm. Transmission duties move to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Suzuki's September range announcement identifies dual-channel ABS for the 250 models. The difference from the smaller family is therefore broader than bodywork or a larger number on the fuel tank. The engine, gearbox and ABS specification need to be considered together when describing each motorcycle.
The regular 250 product sheet lists an 800 mm seat height and a 12-litre fuel tank. It gives separate kerb masses of 156 kg for Gixxer 250 and 161 kg for Gixxer SF 250. The faired and naked versions are consequently not identical in every published measurement.
Where Flex Fuel sits
The FFV is the highest-priced entry in these tables. Suzuki says it can operate with ethanol concentrations up to 85 per cent. Its product specification explicitly associates the quoted 27.9 PS output with E85 fuel, an important condition when that power figure is repeated.
That fuel qualification should travel with the number. It does not support a claim that every fuel blend produces the same output, or that every nearby filling station supplies the relevant blend. The official specification describes the motorcycle's capability, not local fuel availability.
Special Edition and Flex Fuel are also different labels. The district pages list a Special Edition within each SF engine family, while the FFV has its own entry under the larger family. Preserving those names avoids turning a detailed price list into a misleading comparison of only the cheapest and most expensive Gixxer.
The result is a range with choices in body style, engine size and fuel specification. The seven rows provide the exact named entries for this district, while the accompanying technical details explain what sits behind them without assuming that a higher price changes every feature.
