A location-specific price list

These amounts come from Suzuki's individual variant entries for Central, Delhi. That location matters: the same website allows a different state and district to be selected. The table is therefore a record of the stated Delhi listing, rather than a claim that every showroom in India uses identical prices.

Suzuki's general Access FAQ displays a different broad price range. For this article, the location-specific table takes precedence because it identifies an amount against each variant. The discrepancy is not treated as evidence of a price increase, discount or special local promotion.

The city page says the mirror set and side stand are included. Extended warranty, zero-depreciation insurance and other accessories are excluded from the listed amount. Registration and insurance also need to be distinguished from the ex-showroom price when reading a complete on-road quotation.

Front disc brakes and ABS are separate steps

The Standard Edition uses drum brakes at both ends. Suzuki's official braking guide lists a front disc and rear drum for the Special Edition and the Ride Connect versions. The presence of a front disc should not, by itself, be read as confirmation that the scooter has ABS.

ABS appears in two specific variant names: Ride Connect ABS and Ride Connect TFT ABS. Suzuki describes the system on the Access as single-channel ABS. This makes the suffix meaningful equipment information, rather than simply another way of naming a connected instrument cluster.

The company's braking guide explains that combined braking and anti-lock braking have different jobs. Combined braking distributes braking effort between the wheels, while ABS regulates pressure to reduce wheel lock. That distinction helps explain why a scooter can carry a combined-braking description without belonging to an ABS variant.

What changes on the dashboard

The Ride Connect versions introduce phone-linked information through Suzuki Ride Connect. On the regular Ride Connect and Ride Connect ABS editions, the company identifies a monochrome digital instrument cluster. Adding ABS does not automatically change that display to a colour TFT.

The TFT editions use a 4.2-inch colour console. Suzuki's connected-feature guide separates the display type from Bluetooth connectivity: the screen presents information, while the wireless connection brings supported phone functions into that display. Both labels need to be read against the actual edition.

On the product page, Suzuki lists navigation, call and message alerts and additional information such as weather or traffic alerts for supported configurations. It also says some functions are restricted to the TFT edition. The full feature list should therefore not be attributed to the entry Standard Edition.

The shared scooter underneath

The Access uses a fuel-injected, air-cooled engine of 124 cc with a CVT. Suzuki quotes 6.2 kW at 6,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The variant names in this list describe equipment packages, rather than a choice of different engine capacities.

For daily carrying needs, Suzuki lists 24.4 litres of storage beneath the seat, front utility pockets and helmet hooks. It also describes an external fuel lid operated from the front lock, so refuelling does not require opening the seat. These are distinct from the console and braking upgrades.

The specification table gives the scooter a 5.3-litre fuel tank and 160 mm of ground clearance. Those figures describe its packaging; they do not establish a measured mileage result or the distance it will travel on a tank in a particular rider's commute.

Read together, the six entries show a range built around a common scooter with different controls and braking equipment. Keeping the exact edition on the price line makes the differences visible, especially when a description mentions only Access, Ride Connect or a colour name.
