NEW DELHI: The Nissan Tekton price list starts at Rs 10,49,000 for the Visia T160 manual and ends at Rs 18,59,000 for the Tekna+ T280 DCT. Nissan India's official ex-showroom list covers both turbo-petrol engines and every listed gearbox combination. The least expensive automatic is the Acenta T280 DCT at Rs 14,99,000.

Price as of 26 October 2026, 23:25 IST. MT means manual transmission; DCT means dual-clutch transmission. Nissan continues to describe the model-page prices as introductory. The figures above are ex-showroom, rather than final on-road totals or prices after a retailer offer.

Read the engine code before comparing trims

The Tekton range has an unusual overlap: a lower equipment grade with the larger engine can sit alongside a higher grade with the smaller engine. A trim name alone therefore does not identify the mechanical specification. The T160 and T280 labels are essential parts of the price comparison.

Nissan's model page identifies T160 as a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol producing 100 PS and 166 Nm. T280 is a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol producing 163 PS and 280 Nm. Both engines are described as compatible with E20 petrol.

The smaller engine is paired with a six-speed manual. The larger engine has a six-speed manual or a six-speed wet-clutch DCT. Nissan does not list a T160 automatic in this range. That means the move to an automatic also brings the larger engine, rather than simply exchanging gearboxes on the entry powertrain.

Why the middle of the table needs attention

Acenta T280 DCT and N-Connecta T280 manual share the same listed price. They represent different allocations of the budget between equipment and transmission. Likewise, Tekna+ T160 manual and N-Connecta T280 DCT occupy the same price point, even though their engine, gearbox and cabin specifications differ.

These overlaps are useful when reading a quotation because a description such as 'Tekton automatic' leaves out the grade. The complete model designation is the reference that connects the price to the car. Comparing only the headline starting price would conceal most of the choices in this range.

Equipment builds up in distinct steps

Visia begins with LED headlamps, a driver display and six airbags. Visia+ adds touchscreen connectivity with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a reversing camera. Nissan lists a larger infotainment system for Acenta and above, so the cabin technology changes before the upper grades arrive.

N-Connecta introduces a panoramic sunroof, alloy wheels and dual-zone automatic air conditioning. Tekna's highlights include ventilated front seats, a powered driver seat and driver-assistance technology. Tekna+ adds Google built-in, an around-view monitor, a powered passenger seat and an electrically operated tailgate.

The distinction between smartphone projection and Google built-in is particularly relevant here. A wireless phone connection appears lower in the range, while the integrated Google package belongs to the top grade. The presence of a touchscreen on a car does not, by itself, establish that it carries the top connectivity package.

Practicality and the figures behind the claims

Nissan's launch material describes the Tekton as a locally manufactured SUV and gives ground clearance of 212 mm. It also quotes boot space of up to 700 litres. The words 'up to' matter: that figure should not be treated as a measurement of every possible luggage arrangement.

The published fuel-efficiency figures are 19.4 km/l for T160 manual, 17.8 km/l for T280 manual and 18.5 km/l for T280 DCT. They provide a common certification reference, but they do not establish fuel consumption on a specific route with a particular passenger load.

For wider price context, our Renault Duster petrol guide, Kia Seltos price guide and Hyundai Creta price guide cover other SUV line-ups. Their individual engine and gearbox tables are more useful comparison points than an isolated starting figure.
