NEW DELHI: The Hyundai Creta starts at Rs 10,90,700 ex-showroom for the E petrol manual and goes up to Rs 20,11,300 for the diesel automatic King Knight Edition, according to the price list on Hyundai India's official website. Price as of 10 October 2026, 1:00 PM IST, with the Diwali buying window opening ahead of 8 November.
The Creta is Hyundai's best-known SUV in India and the page now lists more than 35 petrol and diesel variants, plus Knight, King and Summer special editions. That is a lot of rows to read, so here is a plain breakdown of what each engine costs and where the big price jumps sit.
Creta petrol prices, variant by variant
The 1.5 MPi petrol manual runs from the E at Rs 10,90,700 to the King at Rs 17,27,800. In between sit the EX at Rs 12,06,700, the EX(O) at Rs 13,14,200, the S(O) at Rs 14,20,700 and the SX at Rs 15,04,400. The SX Premium manual is listed at Rs 16,34,200.
The petrol IVT automatic starts with the EX(O) at Rs 14,49,700 and the S(O) at Rs 15,65,700. The SX Premium IVT costs Rs 17,78,700, which is Rs 1,44,500 more than the SX Premium manual. The King IVT is priced at Rs 18,68,800.
The turbo petrol with the 7-speed DCT is sold only in the King trim. It costs Rs 19,91,300, or Rs 20,06,300 with a dual-tone roof (the DT version). That makes it the most expensive petrol Creta on the list.
Creta diesel prices
The 1.5 CRDi diesel manual begins at Rs 12,52,800 for the E, which is Rs 1,62,100 above the petrol E. The EX is Rs 13,65,700, the EX(O) is Rs 14,73,200 and the S(O) is Rs 15,84,700. The SX Premium manual is Rs 17,92,700 and the King manual is Rs 18,85,800.
The diesel automatic starts at Rs 16,08,200 for the EX(O) and Rs 17,29,700 for the S(O). The King automatic is Rs 19,77,800, and the King Knight Edition automatic tops the diesel range at Rs 20,11,300.
Special editions and dual-tone surcharge
Hyundai lists the Knight Edition with a black exterior, matte black alloy wheels, brass-coloured cabin inserts and Knight badging. The S(O) Knight manual petrol costs Rs 14,39,200, only Rs 18,500 more than the regular S(O). The Summer Edition adds a dashcam, a rear window sunshade and display upgrades on selected trims, and the King Edition is based on the Knight trim.
Where a dual-tone (DT) version exists, the price list shows it Rs 15,000 above the single-tone car for the SX, SX Premium and King manual petrols. The King Knight Edition IVT, at Rs 18,83,300, sits just Rs 500 below the King DT IVT at Rs 18,83,800, so compare the two before booking.
A practical way to read the list is to start from the equipment you actually need. The jump from the EX(O) to the S(O) petrol manual is Rs 1,06,500, and the step from the S(O) to the SX is Rs 83,700. Between the SX and the SX Premium manual, the gap is Rs 1,29,800. Pricing each step against the features you will really use is more useful than looking at the headline figure alone.
What you get and what to check
Hyundai says the Creta offers a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear-seat recline function and a digital instrument cluster, depending on the variant. Higher trims add Bluelink connected-car tech and a Bose sound system.
Standard safety includes six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system and rear parking sensors. The higher variants add Level 2 ADAS, which covers lane-keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert and smart cruise control with stop-and-go.
All figures are ex-showroom. Registration, insurance, tax collected at source and accessories are extra, so the on-road price in your city will be higher. Hyundai's page notes that prices and variants may change without prior notice and asks buyers to confirm with the nearest dealer before booking.
