NEW DELHI: The Hyundai Aura starts at Rs 5,99,990 ex-showroom Delhi, according to Hyundai India's current price page. That is the entry price for the compact sedan, not a quotation for every fuel and gearbox combination. The range includes petrol and factory-fitted CNG versions, with manual and AMT choices in the petrol line-up.

Price as of 26 October 2026, 23:29 IST. Hyundai's readable price page identifies the starting amount but does not populate a complete variant-price table. Consequently, no upper-end price or assumed CNG and automatic premium is included here. The company also states that prices and variants may change without prior notice.

A sedan with distinct fuel and gearbox choices

The Aura's range is organised around familiar trim names, but the badge alone does not describe the whole car. Fuel type and transmission are separate parts of the specification. Hyundai lists E, S, Corporate, SX and SX(O) among the petrol manual choices, while its price-page description says selected trims are also available with AMT.

AMT is Hyundai's automated manual option. It addresses a different requirement from the factory CNG system: one changes how the driver manages gear changes, while the other changes the fuel arrangement. The availability of both in the wider Aura range should not be read as confirmation of a CNG automatic combination.

The bi-fuel version retains petrol alongside CNG, and Hyundai describes the gas system as factory fitted. That makes it a defined manufacturer configuration, rather than a separately priced conversion inferred from a petrol car. Its exact trim price needs its own official quotation; the Rs 5,99,990 starting figure does not establish the cost of that configuration.

Compact exterior, separate luggage compartment

At 3,995 mm long, the Aura keeps its sedan body within a compact footprint. Hyundai specifies a width of 1,680 mm and height of 1,520 mm on the model page. These measurements describe the outside of the car; they do not, by themselves, establish rear-seat comfort or how much usable luggage space remains in a particular fuel version.

Its shape gives the Aura a different brief from Hyundai's small SUVs. The model page shows a painted black grille, projector headlamps and diamond-cut alloy wheels among the range's exterior equipment. Those illustrations describe available features, so they should not be treated as the equipment list of the entry-priced car.

For context within the same manufacturer's line-up, our Hyundai Exter price report covers the small-SUV alternative. The Hyundai Verna report explains the other sedan family. These are separate model guides, rather than prices being added to the Aura's range.

Safety equipment and cabin features

Hyundai explicitly identifies six airbags as standard, covering the driver, front passenger, sides and curtains. Its safety page also describes electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, a rear-view monitor and automatic headlamps. The distinction between a standard feature and equipment shown for the range matters when reading the opening price.

The convenience page lists rear air-conditioning vents, driver-seat height adjustment, push-button starting and wireless phone charging. These features concern daily cabin use more directly than exterior trim. Rear vents serve passengers behind the driver, while the seat adjustment changes the driving position. Their inclusion on the product page does not mean each is supplied on every version.

Smartphone integration is another part of the cabin specification, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay described on the convenience page. Compatibility and the fitted equipment need to match the particular car. A general description of the Aura's infotainment should not be used to assign a screen or connectivity package to the base model.

What the quoted price covers

Hyundai distinguishes the ex-showroom amount from the final on-road total, which includes registration-related charges and insurance, with optional accessories adding further cost. The starting figure is therefore useful for identifying the range's entry point, but it is not a final payable amount.
