NEW DELHI: The MSI MAG 275QPF X30 is listed at Rs 26,999 on the company's official India manufacturing campaign page. Its main specification is a 27-inch, 2560 x 1440 Rapid IPS screen running at up to 300Hz. MSI named the model in its Indian local-production announcement on 7 July 2026, placing a high-refresh QHD option in that portfolio.

Price as of 1 November 2026, 00:14 IST. The figure comes from MSI's own page and does not depend on applying a retailer coupon. The July announcement provides the local launch context; this is a check of that model's listed price and capabilities, rather than a claim that it was unveiled today.
QHD detail stays at the headline refresh rate
The X30's defining combination is QHD resolution with a high refresh ceiling. MSI specifies the same maximum resolution and refresh through HDMI and DisplayPort. A computer does not need to drop the screen to Full HD simply because it is using the advertised 300Hz setting.
That gives this model a specific role for a player who spends time on competitive games but also uses the desk for reading, editing and everyday work. The QHD desktop remains the reference point across those uses. It is a different proposition from choosing a monitor purely for the largest resolution number on the carton.
The missing part of any specification-only judgement is the computer's actual output. A high refresh ceiling is useful only to the extent that the graphics hardware, game settings and connection can make use of it. MSI's published figures do not tell us the frame rate of an individual game on a buyer's existing PC.
Read the response and HDR labels carefully
The response claim is explicitly a minimum grey-to-grey figure. It describes pixel transition performance under the maker's stated conditions, rather than a guarantee that every transition behaves identically. It should not be presented as the complete input delay of a gaming system.
VESA DisplayHDR 400 appears in the technical specification, which also lists an SDR brightness of 400 cd/m². Those are more useful identifiers than a general promise of vivid pictures. They still do not replace an examination of how a particular game, room lighting and display setting look together.
MSI also describes AI Vision and a Smart Crosshair function. The former adjusts the presentation of dark areas, brightness and colour, while the latter changes the aiming marker's colour. These are image-processing and visibility tools. Neither establishes an improvement in a player's results, and their effect will depend on the content.
A gaming monitor still has to fit the desk
The stand offers a useful range of physical adjustment, and the anti-glare surface is relevant to rooms with reflections. For a workstation that changes between study, office work and play, positioning the screen appropriately can matter as much as setting its highest refresh rate.
Connectivity needs a separate check for a shared work-and-play setup. MSI explicitly lists KVM as unsupported. Attaching multiple video sources therefore should not be assumed to provide automatic switching of the keyboard and mouse between them. Plan the peripheral connections alongside the display cables.
The console table lists Full HD and QHD modes at 60Hz or 120Hz, with HDMI CEC and PS5/Xbox variable refresh support. These entries are a better guide to console use than applying the PC refresh headline to every connected device. The source device remains part of the compatibility question.
