NEW DELHI: Motorola's India specification page identifies the Edge 60 Fusion with a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor and a 5,500mAh battery. Those are the figures Indian readers should use: Motorola's global announcement describes a Dimensity 7300 and a 5,200mAh battery. The shared model name conceals a regional hardware difference.

Motorola's India homepage displays Rs 28,999 against the model, without identifying its RAM configuration in that price card. Price as of 28 October 2026, 23:59 IST. That figure cannot be converted into a complete variant price list, and it is not assigned here to either RAM option.

Why an overseas specification can mislead

The most useful distinction is between a family name and the actual regional device. Someone comparing an imported phone, an international review and an Indian retail listing could see the same Edge 60 Fusion branding throughout. The processor and battery figures show why those sources cannot be treated as interchangeable descriptions of the Indian handset.

Motorola's India support sheet explicitly adds a regional note to the SIM specification. It lists two physical SIMs for India and a physical SIM plus eSIM for other regions. That is a practical difference for a traveller expecting to install an eSIM. An international model's SIM description is insufficient evidence that the Indian version supports the same arrangement.

The India sheet also says NFC is absent. For an owner whose intended workflow includes a particular contactless feature, this deserves a specific check rather than an assumption based on the phone's price or appearance. Regional specifications are especially important when a feature is tied to hardware rather than an application download.

The display has separate brightness figures

Motorola distinguishes high brightness mode at 1,400 nits from HDR peak brightness at 4,500 nits. The latter is the larger promotional figure, but the labels describe different operating conditions. Treating the peak number as an ordinary brightness level for every app would discard a distinction Motorola itself makes in its technical table.

The global announcement's display note also says actual refresh rate varies with content, applications and settings. The advertised maximum is consequently a capability of the display, rather than a promise that every game renders at the same rate. A scrolling interface, a streamed film and a demanding game place different demands on the screen and processor.

The curved panel, pOLED technology and stereo speakers explain the phone's entertainment emphasis. They do not, by themselves, establish how comfortable the curved edges feel in a particular grip. Someone using a protective case should assess that physical combination separately from resolution and refresh-rate figures.

Motorola's separate model specification document reinforces the regional split by identifying the processor for India and the battery for the Indian version in its own entries. This makes the difference more than an isolated wording variation on a shop page. When keeping a specification record for service or comparison, retain the India document together with the invoice rather than relying on the model name alone.

Who it is for

The Indian configuration is relevant to people seeking a curved display, stereo playback and the particular physical SIM arrangement described above. It is also a useful case study for anyone comparing international and domestic stock. A matching marketing name does not establish matching battery capacity, connectivity or processor hardware.

The RAM options should be read as physical memory specifications. Motorola's announcement explains that RAM Boost borrows internal storage as virtual memory and reduces available storage while used. An advertised expanded-memory total should therefore not be treated as an equivalent amount of installed RAM. The distinction is relevant when comparing devices whose sellers describe memory differently.
