NEW DELHI: Maruti Suzuki's car price lists show 28 versions priced under Rs 6 lakh ex-showroom Delhi, across six models, leaving aside the Eeco van, according to the active-variant price lists on its Arena and Nexa websites. The cheapest is the S-Presso Std (O) at Rs 3,49,900, and the list runs up to the Baleno Sigma at Rs 5,98,900. Price as of 25 October 2026, 12:30 AM IST.

All eight versions of the Alto K10 and the S-Presso fit under the line. So do most of the Celerio and half of the WagonR range, plus the entry Swift and Baleno. 12 of the 28 are AGS automatics or CNG cars, so buyers on a tight budget still get a choice of fuel and gearbox.

The cheapest automatic and CNG options

The S-Presso VXi (O) AGS at Rs 4,77,400 is the cheapest automatic in Maruti's range, and the Alto K10 VXi (O) AGS costs Rs 4,97,400. The Celerio VXi AGS at Rs 5,63,400 and the WagonR VXi AGS at Rs 5,99,400 also stay below Rs 6 lakh.

For CNG, the S-Presso LXi (O) CNG costs Rs 4,64,400 and the Alto K10 LXi (O) CNG Rs 4,84,400. The WagonR LXi CNG at Rs 5,93,900 and Celerio VXi CNG at Rs 5,97,900 are the roomier CNG picks under the line, with the Celerio claiming 34.43 km/kg.

What Rs 6 lakh gets you in each model

In the Alto K10, the full range tops out at Rs 5,44,900 for the VXi+ (O) AGS, so even the best-equipped version is well under the limit. The S-Presso range ends at Rs 5,27,400.

The Celerio stops just short at the ZXi manual for Rs 5,73,400; the ZXi AGS costs Rs 6,18,400. In the WagonR, the ZXi manual at Rs 5,98,400 is the highest trim under Rs 6 lakh, and the next step, the ZXi+, costs Rs 6,41,400.

The Swift and Baleno make it in only with their base trims, the Swift LXi at Rs 5,83,900 and the Baleno Sigma at Rs 5,98,900. The next Swift, the VXi manual, costs Rs 6,67,900, and the Dzire starts above the line at Rs 6,30,600.

By price band, 4 versions cost under Rs 4 lakh, 10 sit between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, and 14 fall between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 6 lakh. The busiest band is the last one, where the Celerio, WagonR, Swift and Baleno all overlap with the better-equipped Alto K10 and S-Presso versions.

Claimed petrol efficiency for the entry manuals is close across the six models. Maruti quotes 24.12 km/l for the S-Presso, 24.39 kmpl for the Alto K10, 25.24 kmpl for the Celerio, 24.35 (km/l) for the WagonR, 24.80 km/l for the Swift and 23.80 km/l for the Baleno.

One Maruti is missing from this count. The Eeco van is also sold in this price range, but its active-variant list did not load from Maruti's price data during our check, so we have left it out rather than guess which versions are current.

On-road cost will be higher

These are ex-showroom prices. Registration, road tax and insurance usually add a meaningful amount, so a car priced just under Rs 6 lakh will cost more than that on the road in most states. Ask for a written on-road quote before you decide.
