Maruti S-Presso price list, October 2026

Petrol manual: Std (O) Rs 3,49,900, LXi (O) Rs 3,82,400, VXi (O) Rs 4,32,400 and VXi+ (O) Rs 4,82,400.

CNG manual: LXi (O) CNG Rs 4,64,400 and VXi (O) CNG Rs 5,14,400.

What each step costs

Moving from the Std (O) to the LXi (O) costs Rs 32,500, and the step up to the VXi (O) costs another Rs 50,000. The VXi+ (O) adds Rs 50,000 over the VXi (O). The AGS gearbox costs Rs 45,000 more than the manual on both the VXi (O) and the VXi+ (O).

CNG adds Rs 82,000 at LXi (O) and Rs 82,000 at VXi (O). The cheapest CNG S-Presso is the LXi (O) CNG at Rs 4,64,400, which is Rs 1,14,500 above the cheapest petrol car.

Engine, mileage and safety

Every S-Presso version uses a 998 cc engine and seats five. Maruti's variant data lists 24.12 km/l for the Std (O) and LXi (O), 24.76 km/l for the VXi (O) and VXi+ (O) manuals, 25.30 km/l for the AGS versions and 32.73 km/kg for CNG. These are the figures on Maruti's page, and real-world numbers will differ.

The page lists two airbags on each version, which is fewer than the six airbags shown for the Brezza and Victoris. Buyers comparing small cars on safety should check the airbag count and the crash-test position of each model before deciding.

How the S-Presso fits Maruti's small-car range

The S-Presso is Maruti's cheapest car after the Alto K10, whose price list starts at Rs 3,69,900, which is Rs 20,000 above the S-Presso entry price. The Celerio starts at Rs 4,69,900 and the WagonR at Rs 4,98,900.

The S-Presso top version at Rs 5,27,400 costs more than the entry Celerio, so buyers who plan to spend above Rs 5 lakh may want to compare the two before booking. A CNG S-Presso at Rs 5,14,400 is also close to the entry Celerio price.

Quick answers for buyers

What is the cheapest S-Presso? The Std (O) manual at Rs 3,49,900 ex-showroom Delhi.

Is there a CNG S-Presso? Yes. Maruti lists two CNG versions, the LXi (O) at Rs 4,64,400 and the VXi (O) at Rs 5,14,400, both with a five-speed manual.

Which S-Presso has an automatic? The VXi (O) AGS at Rs 4,77,400 and the VXi+ (O) AGS at Rs 5,27,400. The AGS is an automated manual gearbox, not a conventional torque-converter automatic.

How much fuel does it need? At the listed 24.12 km/l, 1,000 km needs about 41 litres of petrol. At the listed 32.73 km/kg, the same distance needs about 31 kg of CNG.

The price spread at a glance

The dearest S-Presso costs Rs 1,77,500 more than the cheapest, a spread of about 51 per cent. Five of the eight versions sit between Rs 3,49,900 and Rs 4,77,400, so most of the range stays below Rs 4.8 lakh.

A buyer who wants low running cost should look first at the CNG versions, since the listed 32.73 km/kg is the best figure in the table. A buyer who wants the lowest price should compare the Std (O) and LXi (O) in the showroom, because the Rs 32,500 gap between them is small against the total.
