NEW DELHI: The Maruti Suzuki Celerio costs Rs 4,69,900 to Rs 6,75,400 ex-showroom across its eight versions. The cheapest is the LXi and the most expensive is the ZXi+ AGS automatic. Every Celerio uses the 998 cc K10C petrol engine, and one version comes with factory CNG. Price as of 23 October 2026, 2:30 AM IST, on Maruti Suzuki's official Arena Celerio price page.
These are starting ex-showroom prices from Maruti Suzuki. The on-road price will be higher once registration, road tax and insurance are added, and it varies by state and city. Paint choice can also change the final price.
Maruti Celerio petrol manual price list
Celerio LXi: Rs 4,69,900.
Celerio VXi MT: Rs 5,18,400.
Celerio ZXi MT: Rs 5,73,400.
Celerio ZXi+ MT: Rs 6,30,400.
The LXi is the entry point at under Rs 4.7 lakh. The VXi MT costs Rs 48,500 more, the ZXi MT adds another Rs 55,000, and the top ZXi+ MT is Rs 57,000 above the ZXi MT.
Maruti Celerio AGS automatic price list
Celerio VXi AGS: Rs 5,63,400.
Celerio ZXi AGS: Rs 6,18,400.
Celerio ZXi+ AGS: Rs 6,75,400.
AGS is Maruti's automated manual gearbox. On the VXi, ZXi and ZXi+, the AGS version costs Rs 45,000 more than the matching manual. The VXi AGS at Rs 5,63,400 is the cheapest automatic Celerio.
Maruti Celerio CNG price
Celerio VXi S-CNG: Rs 5,97,900.
The only factory CNG version is based on the VXi, and it costs Rs 79,500 more than the VXi MT. Maruti claims 34.43 km/kg on CNG. If running costs are your main concern, note that CNG prices have been going up. Toyota also sells factory CNG on the Glanza, as seen in its latest variant update.
Celerio engine and mileage
Maruti rates the 998 cc K10C engine at 50.4 kW (68.5 PS) and 91.1 Nm. The claimed petrol fuel efficiency ranges from 24.97 km/l to 26.00 km/l depending on the version, with the LXi rated at 25.24 km/l. As always, real-world mileage in city traffic will be lower than the claimed figure.
How the Celerio price gaps work
From the cheapest to the costliest version, the Celerio range spans Rs 2,05,500. Each trim step on the manual costs Rs 48,500 to Rs 57,000. The AGS gearbox adds a flat Rs 45,000, which is less than a trim step. So a buyer choosing between the ZXi AGS at Rs 6,18,400 and the ZXi+ MT at Rs 6,30,400 is paying for either the automatic or the extra equipment.
Celerio price by budget
Under Rs 5 lakh, the LXi is the only Celerio. Between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 6 lakh there are four choices: the VXi MT, VXi AGS, ZXi MT and VXi S-CNG. Above Rs 6 lakh sit the ZXi AGS, ZXi+ MT and ZXi+ AGS, with the top version at Rs 6,75,400.
That spread gives buyers a lot of room to trade features against price. A buyer with Rs 5.7 lakh can choose between the ZXi MT for more equipment or the VXi AGS for the automatic, which are just Rs 10,000 apart.
Which Celerio version to buy
If you only need basic transport, the LXi at Rs 4,69,900 keeps the price low. For most families, the VXi MT or VXi AGS gives a sensible mix of price and features. Buyers who want the most equipment should look at the ZXi+, and those who drive long distances every day can consider the VXi S-CNG.
Before you book, ask the dealer for an itemised on-road quote. Insurance, registration and accessory packs can add a fair amount to the ex-showroom price. Check that the version name on the booking form matches the one you chose, since the manual and AGS versions of the same trim are priced Rs 45,000 apart.
The Celerio sits close in price to rivals such as the Hyundai Exter, which starts at Rs 5,80,600. Compare on-road quotes from dealers before you book.
