NEW DELHI: Lava Blaze X combines a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while Lava's official shop lists the range from Rs 14,999. Its three physical RAM options share 128GB storage. The important distinction is between the memory fitted inside the phone and the additional virtual RAM advertised alongside it.

Price as of 6 November 2026, 01:08 IST. This is the amount displayed on the manufacturer's public shop, not an assurance that an order can be placed. The page marked the handset unavailable when checked. The figure should therefore be read as a catalogue reference, with availability checked separately.
The official collection names Starlight Purple and Titanium Grey finishes. Those colour names should be distinguished from the separate RAM and storage configuration.
What the curved AMOLED specification tells you
The Blaze X's defining combination is its curved screen and high refresh rate. These describe different aspects of the display: the curve concerns its shape, AMOLED concerns the panel technology, and refresh rate concerns how frequently the screen can redraw. A curved edge does not itself establish sharper text, better outdoor visibility or faster processing.
For someone reading coaching notes on a phone, the practical question is whether text remains comfortable near the edges and whether a suitable case leaves enough room for gestures. For someone watching video, reflections and the position in which the handset is held matter too. These are sensible things to examine on this particular curved design; the specification sheet cannot settle them.
The refresh specification also needs careful interpretation. It describes the display's capability, rather than promising that every game or video will run at the same frame rate. Application support, the selected settings and the workload still matter. Lava's shop provides no sustained gaming measurements, so a claim about competitive gaming performance would go beyond the evidence.
Read the RAM labels before comparing versions
Lava writes the memory choices with a second, matching quantity after a plus sign, then identifies that additional quantity as virtual RAM. For comparing variants, use the physical RAM figure first. A storage-backed extension is a different resource from the memory physically installed in the handset, even when the two are combined into a larger marketing total.
This is especially relevant here because the storage capacity stays the same across the listed RAM choices. A higher RAM version is not automatically a version with more room for downloaded lectures, photographs or offline maps. Someone whose main problem is running out of file space should not mistake the larger RAM label for a larger storage allowance.
The readable page does not attach a separate current price to each memory option. Consequently, it cannot establish the premium for moving between them. The starting figure is useful, but a complete variant price ladder would require additional official price information. We have not filled those gaps with older launch figures or retailer listings.
Camera and charging claims have boundaries
The named Sony sensor is more specific than a generic camera count, but sensor branding and megapixels still cannot establish the quality of a moving subject photographed indoors. Exposure, processing and focus behaviour need examination in actual photographs. The official specification is a description of the hardware, not a substitute for a camera test.
Similarly, charging power and battery capacity answer different questions. Neither provides a verified full-charge time on its own. A reader planning a short charging stop before leaving home should look for a properly described charging test rather than converting the wattage into an assumed number of minutes. No such conversion is used here.
Who the Blaze X specification suits
On paper, the Blaze X is aimed at someone who wants a curved AMOLED experience while keeping a familiar phone-sized format. The memory choices make it relevant to users balancing light use against switching between study, messaging and work apps. That is an assessment of the published configuration, rather than a claim that we have tested its speed.
