NEW DELHI: HP India lists the OMEN 24 gaming monitor at Rs 14,000 for SKU 780F0A6#ACJ and Rs 18,290 for 780F0AA#ACJ, including taxes. Both pages describe a 23.8-inch Full HD IPS display with a maximum 165Hz refresh rate. Their listed warranty terms differ, making the product code important alongside the model name.
| OMEN 24 India SKU | Listed price | MRP | Warranty stated on SKU page | Page availability |

Price as of 6 November 2026, 00:28 IST. These are the two OMEN 24 India listings found and opened for this report. The higher figure is a listed price for an unavailable SKU, not a promise of an immediately purchasable option. No payment offer has been subtracted from either price.
Same model name, different warranty text
The most consequential difference visible in these pages is easy to miss when searching only for OMEN 24. The 780F0A6 page states the HP standard one-year limited warranty; the 780F0AA page states three years limited warranty. Those are the terms published on the individual listings at the reporting check, not a universal warranty statement for every OMEN monitor.
The pages do not explain the commercial reason for the price separation. It would therefore be wrong to present the higher amount as the verified price of a warranty upgrade, or to assume that the cheaper code is physically identical in every respect. Keep the SKU, invoice description and applicable warranty documentation together when recording a purchase.
This is particularly relevant to a shared gaming and work desk, where a monitor may remain in use through changes of computer. A model name can remain familiar while the part number in a quotation changes. Comparing the exact code avoids carrying a warranty statement from one listing into paperwork for another.
What the common display specification means
The central specification is a flat IPS LCD panel with 1920 x 1080 native resolution. HP gives both listings a maximum 165Hz refresh rate and a 1ms grey-to-grey response-time claim with overdrive. The overdrive condition belongs with that response figure; it should not disappear when the specification is shortened for a comparison.
Refresh rate and pixel response describe different aspects of display behaviour. Neither number alone establishes the frame rate a game will deliver on a connected PC. For this monitor, the useful setup check is to confirm the selected resolution and refresh setting on the actual computer, then assess the image in the games and work applications it will run.
HP lists AMD FreeSync Premium and a typical brightness of 300 nits. It also states 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 gamut coverage. These are manufacturer specifications, rather than independent measurements from this report. They do not amount to a finding about factory colour accuracy or performance across every brightness setting.
Connections and the stand affect daily use
Both listings describe two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input and a 3.5 mm audio-out jack. That connection mix supports a desk plan with different video sources, but it is still worth tracing each intended cable from the source device to the monitor. A connector label on a laptop is only part of that complete path.
HP lists a DisplayPort cable, power cord, warranty card and setup poster in the box, with a note that included cables may vary by country. Do not silently convert the presence of HDMI sockets into a claim that an HDMI cable is supplied. Record the box contents separately from the available inputs.
The stand offers 100 mm of height adjustment, tilt and pivot, with a 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting specification also listed. On a desk used for both games and document work, positioning flexibility can be more tangible than another marketing label. Check the usable desk area, seating position and clearance around the screen before fixing its final location.
A Full HD monitor with a specific paper trail
The 23.8-inch size keeps this comparison focused on the OMEN 24. It should not inherit specifications from similarly named larger OMEN displays. In particular, the Full HD resolution in these pages is the relevant figure when estimating how much workspace a document, spreadsheet or game interface can occupy at native settings.
The price table is therefore best read as a record of two exact listings. It establishes what HP displays for each code, including their different warranty text. It does not establish an unannounced hardware revision, a launch date or a future selling price, and this report makes no such claims.
