Tamil Nadu releases MBBS and BDS Round 2 management quota allotment list

The Tamil Nadu Selection Committee has published the provisional list of candidates allotted under the MBBS and BDS Management Quota for Round 2 of the 2026-27 session. The PDF is titled MBBS/BDS (Management Quota) Course Session 2026-2027 and states that the provisional list of candidates allotted is dated 15 September 2026.
Columns in the list include serial number, government rank, application number, name, marks, allotted-from and allotted-to college fields, category labels such as CMC General or Minority Network, and status. Many early rows show Christian Medical College, Vellore MBBS seats marked Retained for candidates already holding the seat.
How this list differs from government quota
On the same counselling cycle the Selection Committee also released Round 2 government quota and 7.5 percent reservation quota allotment files. The management quota PDF is a separate stream. Candidates must open the MQ file if their counselling path was management quota, and should not assume a government-quota college name applies to them.
The list is provisional. Status values such as Retained indicate continuity from an earlier allotment. Fresh movements appear where the allotted-to college differs from the prior seat. Candidates should verify their own application number on the official download rather than counting rows from a forwarded sheet.
Reporting after the 15 September MQ allotment
After the list appeared, the Selection Committee extended Round 2 allotment-order download and college reporting to 19 September 2026 through Notification No.27 dated 18 September. Management quota candidates who still need to join should use that extended window together with the MQ allotment order from the portal.
The MQ allotted list file is hosted on the counselling document storage linked from tnmedicalselection.net. Candidates should download the allotment order through their login, carry the documents demanded by the allotted self-financing college, and complete reporting inside the time notified by the Selection Committee.
Self-financing colleges on the MQ list may demand fee payments on a tighter internal timetable than the outer 19 September reporting limit. Candidates should call the allotted college office after downloading the order and confirm the payment desk hours for 18 and 19 September.
Minority network and CMC category labels visible in the early rows of the PDF matter for who may claim those seats. A general MQ aspirant should not read a minority-network retained row as an open vacancy. Only the candidate's own application number row is actionable.
If a candidate wishes to resign a Round 2 MQ seat later, that process will follow separate Selection Committee resignation rules, not this allotment PDF. For now, the task for allotted students is to download, report and join inside the extended Round 2 window linked to Notification No.27.
For families comparing streams, government quota, management quota and 7.5 percent lists answer different seat pools. The 15 September management quota provisional allotment is the reference for MQ Round 2 seats. Later corrections, if any, will appear only through fresh Selection Committee notices on the same portal.
