NEW DELHI: Nokia 105 Classic buyers need to read the charger selection separately from the SIM selection on HMD's India page. The listing offers charger-included and charger-not-included choices, alongside Single SIM and Dual SIM entries labelled 4 MB, 4 MB. Those memory figures do not describe smartphone-sized storage.
| Listing field | What the official page says |
|---|---|
| Model selection | Charger included or charger not included |
| SIM selection | Single SIM or Dual SIM |
| RAM | 4 MB |
| Internal storage | 4 MB |
| Charging connection | Micro USB |
| Network ceiling | 2G |
Read the whole description on the box
The model name alone does not settle what is in the package. A shop label that says only Nokia 105 Classic leaves the charger choice unanswered. Ask for the exact package description on the box and invoice. If the phone is being bought for a relative in another town, settle that detail before sending it, with the seller in writing, rather than expecting the recipient to find a compatible charger after delivery.
The India page displayed Rs 1,399 when checked. It did not provide a readable price matrix tying a separate amount to every charger and SIM combination. That figure should therefore be treated as the displayed listing price, rather than a complete tariff for all selectable configurations. Price as of 30 October 2026, 00:30 IST.
There is a second reason to check the package carefully. The general specifications page lists a Micro USB charger among the box contents, while the shop page explicitly offers a version without one. For the individual unit being supplied, the selected package and its contents need to agree. A generic specification sheet should not override the description of a charger-free box.
Separate memory from the SIM choice
The specifications identify the repeated memory figures as RAM and internal storage. Neither number tells you how many SIM cards the supplied version accepts. That is a separate choice. Reading these fields independently prevents a common shopping mistake: treating the longer description as evidence that a handset has more storage or a more capable operating system.
For a household keeping separate personal and work numbers, the SIM label deserves its own check. Write the required version down before visiting the shop. A verbal request for the cheapest Nokia can easily leave the practical requirement unstated, especially when several boxes have similar names and artwork.
Place the specifications in everyday use
This model has a 1.77-inch display, an 800mAh removable battery and S30+ software. Its connection specification stops at 2G. Before moving a number into it, establish that the intended mobile service supports the phone's network type in the place where it will be used. The presence of a SIM slot alone does not answer that question.
HMD lists room for up to 2,000 contacts and 500 SMS messages. Those are more relevant measures for this handset than comparisons with a smartphone's app storage. Someone using it as a calling phone should think about the names and messages they need to retain, instead of interpreting the memory label as a promise of an Android-style app library.
The product page also describes wireless FM radio and a built-in torch. For an older user, try the ordinary calling and radio controls during the handover. Ask the user to repeat the actions without prompts. A brief supervised practice can reveal a confusing key or unreadable menu before the person is left to manage alone.
Keep the written purchase description with the invoice. It gives the family a clear reference if the supplied SIM version or charger contents differ from what was agreed. This is a check of the actual package, rather than a reason to assume every handset carrying the Classic name has identical contents.
