NEW DELHI: The new Lexus ES costs Rs 66.10 lakh as the ES 350h hybrid and Rs 91.20 lakh as the ES 500e electric, a gap of Rs 25.10 lakh, according to Lexus India's price list. The hybrid comes in two grades, Exquisite at Rs 66.10 lakh and Luxury at Rs 71.80 lakh, while the electric ES is sold in a single Luxury grade. Price as of 26 October 2026, 1 AM IST.
Lexus labels these as "From" prices and does not say on the page which city they apply to or whether they are ex-showroom figures. Registration, insurance and other charges will push the on-road price higher, so ask a dealer for a written quote.

ES 350h: the hybrid
Lexus describes the ES 350h as a strong hybrid with a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that sends power to the front wheels through an e-CVT gearbox. It does not need to be plugged in. Both grades get 19-inch wheels and the Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 driver-assistance suite, which the FAQ on the model page says includes pre-collision braking, radar cruise control, lane tracing and departure alerts, a driver monitor, safe exit assist and eight airbags.
The Luxury grade costs Rs 5.70 lakh more than the Exquisite. On the pricing panel of the model page, Lexus lists the 17-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, the driver monitor and a head-up display as its highlights, against the Tazuna cockpit, connected car technology and 19-inch wheels for the Exquisite.
ES 500e: the electric version
The ES 500e uses two motors, with a combined 252 kW and 438 Nm according to its specification table, and drives all four wheels. Its 74.68 kWh lithium-ion battery is rated for up to 580 km, and Lexus says a 150 kW DC charger takes it from 10 to 80 percent in about 28 minutes, with the battery at 25 degrees Celsius at the start. An 11 kW home charger gives a full charge in around 7 hours. The battery has up to 8 years of cover and the charger 3 years.
Against the ES 350h Luxury, the electric car costs Rs 19.40 lakh more. That premium buys all-wheel drive and zero tailpipe emissions, but buyers should check home charging at their address before paying it, since the hybrid needs no charging at all. The ES 500e page says it can be charged at home with the supplied charger or at public stations.
Which ES to buy
For buyers who mainly want a quiet, roomy sedan, the ES 350h Exquisite at Rs 66.10 lakh is the value pick, with the same engine as the Luxury grade. The Luxury adds the bigger sound system and the head-up display. The ES 500e makes sense for buyers who can charge at home and want an electric luxury sedan with a long rated range. The ES page lists a warranty of 8 years or 2,00,000 km.
Running costs differ too. The ES 350h page offers Lexus Luxury Care service packages, from a Comfort plan covering periodic maintenance to a Premier plan that adds general repairs, car care products, tyres and battery, with terms from 3 years or 40,000 km up to 8 years or 1,60,000 km. Ask the dealer to price the same package on both cars, because an electric car has fewer parts that need routine service.
