NEW DELHI: Invicto customers checking online booking cancellation costs face conflicting wording on NEXA's official website. Its dedicated Terms of Use page specifies a Rs 500 cancellation charge outside the pre-launch exemption, while booking terms reproduced on its warranty page say there is no cancellation charge. Both describe a refund period of 25 to 30 days.

Official pageWhat it says
Terms of UsePre-launch exemption; Rs 500 charge otherwise
Warranty page booking termsNo booking cancellation charge
Both pagesOnline cancellation for online bookings; refund to original payment mode

Save the terms attached to your booking

The immediate step is to retrieve your booking receipt and the terms accepted when paying. This report cannot determine which wording governs an individual transaction. Ask the selected authorised dealer to identify the applicable clause before treating either a zero deduction or a charge as the final settlement. Save a dated copy of the relevant page with the receipt.

The difference is material even though the stated deduction is small beside a car purchase. A refund request needs an agreed starting amount and a clear explanation of any reduction. With two official pages giving different answers, a screenshot of only one clause is an incomplete record. Keep the payment confirmation and cancellation acknowledgement together.

Keep the booking separate from the car specification

Invicto's official product page describes its hybrid system and an energy-flow display that shows whether propulsion is using fuel, electric power or both. These are features of the vehicle. The booking terms concern the payment transaction, and a change in the desired equipment should be documented separately from a request for money back.

That distinction is useful if your Invicto order has become a family discussion about the cabin rather than a decision to abandon the purchase. The model page highlights rear air conditioning and a powered driver seat with memory among its equipment. Ask for an updated written vehicle specification if preferences have changed; do not assume a conversation about equipment has also changed the original online order.

NEXA's Invicto price page explicitly separates ex-showroom pricing from the final on-road total. Treat the booking receipt, vehicle quotation and any independently paid amounts as separate records. Write down which payment you want returned, rather than asking for a general refund of everything associated with the purchase.

For a household arranging a large people carrier, the useful question is whether the existing order still matches the intended use. Settle that internally before authorising a fresh transaction, so a specification discussion does not create another payment record to untangle later.

Follow the payment trail

The published terms route cancellation of an online booking through the online process. They also distinguish additional money paid offline, which must be claimed from the dealer separately. The stated refund method follows the original payment route. These provisions help explain why a showroom conversation alone may leave an online request unfinished.

As a practical check, compare the amount on the booking receipt with the debit in your bank or card statement. Record the payment date, reference and selected dealer. If you have another payment for accessories or registration, give it its own entry. This creates a clear account of the money without assuming that every receipt belongs to the online booking system.

The quoted refund period should not be read as instant availability of funds for a replacement purchase. Ask for the cancellation acknowledgement and a transaction reference when the refund is processed. If a credit is missing, use those records to ask where the payment stands, rather than repeatedly submitting the same cancellation request.

For vehicle background, our Invicto seating guide explains the cabin choices. See also the Invicto price guide and XL6 gearbox guide for related model context. Those articles do not resolve the discrepancy between the cancellation clauses.
