NEW DELHI: Samsung lists 45.6GB of available storage for the Galaxy A08 LTE with 64GB built in. Its India specification sheet also confirms a dedicated microSD position alongside both SIM slots, with card support up to 2TB. Those details explain the storage arrangement more clearly than the capacity printed in a shop listing.

The figures apply to the Indian configuration identified on Samsung's product page. Available capacity is subject to installed software and can change after updates. It is a published reference, rather than a guarantee that every activated handset will show exactly the same free-space reading after personal data has been transferred.

A battery-led update with a storage qualification

The A08 combines a Helio G99+ processor with a 6000mAh typical battery and support for 25W charging. Samsung's India materials also specify expandable storage up to 2TB. Those details describe a phone built around everyday use and keeping local files, rather than making mobile network speed its central attraction.

Storage deserves attention alongside the battery headline. The India specification sheet lists 45.6GB as available on the 64GB version, with the usual qualification that available capacity can change with software. That is the more useful starting point for someone moving an existing collection of messages, photographs and downloaded videos to the A08.

The tray arrangement is particularly relevant to Indian households using separate personal and work connections. Samsung lists space for SIM 1, SIM 2 and a microSD card. Expansion therefore does not require giving up the second physical SIM slot on this model. A memory card remains a separate item, rather than extra built-in storage included with the handset.

RAM Plus does not change the physical variant

Samsung also advertises RAM Plus on the A08. Its official support explanation describes this as using internal storage for virtual memory, and says it is not a substitute for more physical RAM. The priced Indian configuration consequently remains a 4GB model, regardless of how a retailer describes memory expansion.

That distinction matters more on a phone with limited built-in capacity. Allocating storage to virtual memory and retaining space for files are related choices. Samsung's support guidance says the feature can help with background apps, but that description is not an independent performance test of the A08. It does not establish how an individual banking app or game will behave.

The display and cameras need separate readings

Samsung's India announcement describes an HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its photography hardware consists of a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth camera and an 8MP front camera. These are different jobs within the camera system, rather than interchangeable measures of image quality.

For family photographs, the meaningful question is how the main camera handles the scene, not the sum of all the advertised megapixels. Likewise, a higher display refresh rate describes how often the panel can update; it does not itself establish a particular game's performance. Neither specification replaces a hands-on assessment.

Software support and the charger are separate considerations

Samsung advertises up to six generations of operating system upgrades and up to six years of security updates. Its product-page qualification starts the support period at the first global launch date. Someone obtaining the phone later should therefore avoid treating the purchase date as the beginning of a fresh support term.

The charging specification also needs its accompanying qualification: Samsung says the 25W charger is sold separately. A supported charging rate is a capability of the handset, not confirmation that the necessary adapter is included. The storage configuration and the charging accessory therefore describe separate parts of the package.
