The capacity ladder is also a size ladder

The important distinction within Arno Neo is stored volume. Choosing a larger version changes how much water the tank holds and the physical space occupied by the heater. It does not move this range to a higher published element rating. That is the central context for reading the price progression.

The dimensions make a particular difference in a bathroom being renovated around an existing heater. The middle capacities have matching first and second dimensions on Crompton's page, with a different third measurement. The largest unit expands beyond that footprint. An old mounting location should therefore be checked against the chosen capacity rather than the family name alone.

For a household replacing a failed heater, that check has practical value before any installation appointment. A photograph of the old appliance can identify the general location, but it does not establish clearances, wall suitability or pipe alignment for the new one. Those are questions for the installer using the actual product documentation.

Stored hot water and heating speed are separate

Crompton lists a temperature-control knob, PUF insulation and a magnesium anode in its Arno Neo description. These are distinct parts of the design: selecting temperature, limiting heat loss and protecting the tank. Their presence should not be turned into an unsupported promise about a household's electricity savings or the time needed for a bath.

The shared element rating also deserves a careful reading. A power specification by itself cannot settle the complete heating time, because the quantity of water and the temperature change matter. Crompton's product information opened for this report does not provide a directly comparable heating-time table for every capacity, so none is supplied here.

Bathroom routines are more useful context than a generic family-size label. Consecutive showers, intermittent use and a bucket bath place different demands on stored water. A capacity label is a tank specification, not a guarantee that a particular sequence of baths will be completed without waiting for reheating.

Read the warranty by component

The published coverage is five years for the tank, two years for the heating element and two years for the product. The longest period therefore belongs to a specific component. It should not be read as an equally long promise for everything connected to the heater.

If a fault develops, a useful service record identifies what failed and which capacity was supplied. Retain the purchase invoice and installation paperwork together. Describing the symptom, such as a leak or failure to heat, gives the service team a clearer starting point than simply quoting the longest warranty period on the listing.

The same distinction between component coverage and general product coverage is discussed in our LG washing machine warranty report. For a different stage of appliance ownership, the Whirlpool returns guide explains that brand's shopping-return process. Neither policy applies to Crompton.

What this price table includes

All four capacity selections shown for this Grey Arno Neo listing are included above. Other Crompton water-heater families are separate products, even when they share a power rating or similar tank sizes. Matching the full name, colour and capacity on a quotation prevents an apparent price comparison from quietly switching to a different heater.

Readers following smaller household appliances can also see our Atomberg Zephyr specification report. The common reporting principle is to preserve the exact model and the scope of the official figure, particularly when installation or ongoing service can involve a separate decision.
