Read the prepaid half of the document
The PDF has separate postpaid and prepaid matrices. A reader checking an existing prepaid connection needs the prepaid page, because the plan columns and entertainment combinations are not identical. Matching the amount alone across different billing types can lead to the wrong expectation about a subscription.
For the lower rentals, Jio's broadband page lists Rs 399 at 30 Mbps and Rs 699 at 100 Mbps. It lists Rs 999 at 150 Mbps and Rs 1,499 at 300 Mbps. Those examples give a connection-speed reference alongside the OTT matrix without implying that the document is an exhaustive list of all available recharges.
The same broadband page describes symmetric upload and download speeds. That is a connection characteristic; Netflix eligibility is a separate benefit. A household checking remote work needs and evening viewing should therefore record the speed and the streaming package independently, even when both appear in the same plan description.
Included apps have different access rules
The prepaid matrix distinguishes apps usable on other devices from content available through JioTV+. Its notes place Eros Now, Lionsgate Play, ShemarooMe, FanCode, Tarang Plus and TimesPlay content inside JioTV+. An app name in the bundle is not, by itself, a promise of a separate subscription that works everywhere.
For eligible benefits, the document requires activation of Amazon Prime Lite, Netflix and YouTube Premium through MyJio before use. It also requires Hoichoi and SunNXT to be opened on the Jio set-top box during each billing cycle for access on other devices. These are operational conditions worth checking before diagnosing an apparent missing benefit.
Amazon Prime Lite is described as a one-time subscription lasting two years on eligible plans. Continuing from the third year requires renewal at an additional prevailing charge. That expiry is distinct from the broadband recharge, so retaining the internet plan does not turn this particular subscription into a permanent inclusion.
Why a living room bundle needs its own checklist
Jio's current JioHome page brings fibre and AirFiber under a common home-services presentation. Its broad entertainment description spans TV channels and apps. For an existing prepaid subscriber, the more useful check is the specific prepaid matrix column, followed by the subscription status attached to the account.
Consider a household with an internet-connected TV and a separate Netflix subscription. The question is whether its selected JioFiber column includes the required Netflix edition and how activation works. A broad list of entertainment logos cannot answer that. Nor should the household assume the Prime Lite label means the same product as every other Prime subscription.
