NEW DELHI: Canon lists the PIXMA G3770 at an MRP of Rs 20,270 inclusive of taxes in Black, Red and White. Its India product pages show the same price for all three finishes, so the colour choice does not buy a different print engine or a higher specification. This is a wireless ink tank printer with scanning and copying, aimed at homes and small offices that print regularly.
| Variant | Official India MRP | Core functions |
|---|---|---|
| PIXMA G3770 Black | Rs 20,270 | Print, scan, copy |
| PIXMA G3770 Red | Rs 20,270 | Print, scan, copy |
| PIXMA G3770 White | Rs 20,270 | Print, scan, copy |
Price as of 5 November 2026, 00:58 IST. These figures are Canon's published maximum retail prices, rather than a claim about the lowest checkout price. The table covers the colour variants shown on Canon India's product pages.
What the G3770 actually does
The G3770 combines document printing with a flatbed scanner and local copying. Canon specifies A4 ISO document speeds of up to 11 images per minute in monochrome and six in colour. Those figures describe different workloads. A family printing mostly text cannot use the monochrome figure to estimate how quickly a stack of colour school projects will finish.
Canon gives the scanner an optical resolution of 600 x 1,200 dpi. A flatbed means placing originals on the glass, which is useful for individual sheets and pages that need careful positioning. It also means that the scanning workflow deserves as much attention as the printer's output speed when the job involves a collection of separate originals.
A small monochrome backlit LCD provides a local interface. That matters when someone wants to make a copy without first opening a computer application. It is a different convenience from mobile printing: the screen helps at the printer, while wireless support helps send work to it.
Wireless access and paper handling
Wi-Fi, AirPrint, Mopria and Direct Wireless are listed on the India overview. USB is also specified. For a household sharing documents between a laptop and phones, that combination gives several routes into the same machine. Direct Wireless is specifically useful when the intended workflow does not involve joining the printer to an existing router network.
The rear tray holds up to 100 sheets of plain A4 or Letter paper under Canon's stated conditions. Borderless printing includes A4 among the supported sizes. Borderless capability should be matched to the paper and settings listed by Canon, rather than treated as a promise that every document and every sheet can be printed without margins.
The G3770's practical distinction is the combination of refillable tanks, a local display and a flatbed in a colour-selectable body. In a shared study room, the finish is an aesthetic decision. The more consequential questions are whether originals arrive individually, whether the printer will be shared wirelessly, and whether the household has enough recurring work to make refilling tanks worthwhile.
Ink choices need a separate budget
Canon lists full-size GI-71 pigment black ink at Rs 795 MRP and cyan, magenta and yellow at Rs 695 each. Smaller GI-71S bottles are also listed: Rs 484 for pigment black and Rs 442 each for the colour bottles. These are separate consumable prices, not alternative G3770 hardware variants.
The published standard yields differ too. GI-71 black is rated at 6,000 pages, while the composite colour yield is 7,700 pages. GI-71S black is rated at 3,100 pages and its composite colour yield at 4,400. Colour yield refers to the set under Canon's test method, so it should not be multiplied by the number of colour bottles to produce a larger claim.
Canon explains that initial setup uses ink to fill the print head, and replacement-bottle yield is measured after that process. Actual results vary with coverage, settings and printing frequency. The sensible reading is a basis for comparing refill sizes under stated conditions, rather than a guaranteed count for photographs, dense worksheets or occasional use.
Who it is for
Canon recommends 150 to 1,500 pages a month. The G3770 therefore fits a household or small workspace with recurring colour documents, occasional photographs and individual scanning jobs. Someone comparing the broader range can read our Canon PIXMA G1730, G2730 and G3730 price list: Rs 10,325 to Rs 16,295 for the distinction between simpler models.
For other workflows, our Canon PIXMA TR160 vs SELPHY CP1500 price: CP1500 starts lower at Rs 11,995 covers another home printing pair, while the Canon MAXIFY GX1070 and GX2070 price list: Rs 29,340 to Rs 33,275 addresses more specialised portable printing. The useful comparison starts with the document job, then the hardware price.
