NEW DELHI: Voltas Venus Luxe air conditioners are listed from Rs 42,000 to Rs 53,000 on the company's India store. The four listed versions include a fixed-speed machine and three inverter models. Two different versions share the top price, but one offers a higher star rating while the other moves to a larger capacity class.

Price as of 26 October 2026, 23:54 IST. These are Voltas' displayed selling prices, inclusive of taxes. The table keeps MRP separate and does not deduct conditional payment benefits. It records the current official listings, rather than claiming that the company has announced a new reduction.

The entry model is an inverter AC

The 183INV is the lowest-priced Venus Luxe in this list. Voltas specifies 5300 W cooling capacity, six-step adjustment and four-way swing. Its description also lists a filter-clean indicator, Ice Wash coil-cleaning technology and a quiet operating mode. Those are manufacturer-listed functions; this report does not independently measure cleaning performance or noise.

This version is relevant to the comparison because the family's price ladder does not begin with the fixed-speed model. A buyer reading only the Venus Luxe name and the 1.5 ton badge could miss that distinction. The INV or FS part of the model code should be retained on a quotation and checked against the product listing.

The fixed-speed version has different controls

The 183FS carries the same capacity class and 3 star label, with a listed cooling output of 5300 W. Voltas explicitly describes its compressor as fixed speed. Its feature list specifies two-way swing, alongside memory restart, sleep mode and a filter-clean reminder. The inverter model's adjustable operating stages should not be transferred to this row.

The FS listing also names a large indoor unit, air throw of 20 m and piping flexibility up to 25 m. The piping figure describes the product's installation capability. It is not a statement that the purchase price includes that much pipe, or that every home can use the maximum routing length without a site assessment.

Two ways to reach Rs 53,000

The 185INV stays in the 1.5 ton class and keeps the listed 5300 W cooling capacity, while moving to a 5 star rating. Its product description includes six-step adjustment, four-way swing and Ice Wash. The price step here is therefore associated with a different specification within the same nominal capacity class.

The 243INV uses the other route to the same price: it is a 2 ton, 3 star inverter model. Voltas lists six-step adjustment, four-way swing and a large indoor unit. This is the capacity change in the range, so it should be compared against the room's cooling requirement rather than treated as interchangeable with the higher-rated smaller model.

The 2 ton listing also advertises 20 m air throw and piping flexibility up to 25 m. Those claims help describe the intended installation possibilities, but they do not establish equal cooling at every point in an actual room. Furniture, the chosen mounting position and the final installation plan still need to be considered.

Which details belong on the quotation

For this family, the useful written comparison has separate entries for compressor type, nominal capacity, star rating and air-swing arrangement. A single phrase such as premium split AC hides those differences. The price table shows why the most expensive row is not automatically the largest machine and why a common capacity does not mean common controls.

The official listings require a serviceability check and identify shipping as calculated at checkout. Keep any site-specific installation work on a separate written line. This avoids comparing a bare appliance quotation against another quotation that includes work or materials which have not been itemised.
