NEW DELHI: The Infinix Smart 8 is listed on the brand's India website at Rs 6,499 for the configuration labelled 4GB/64GB and Rs 7,999 for the one labelled 8GB/128GB. Both prices were checked in Timber Black. The memory labels need care: the same page separately explains an advertised 8GB total as physical memory combined with virtual memory.

Price as of 26 October 2026, 23:40 IST. The table preserves the website's labels rather than treating every advertised memory figure as physical RAM. Both selected configurations displayed a notification button, so these are catalogue prices rather than confirmation of an immediately deliverable order.

Read the memory labels before comparing

The Smart 8 page contains an important footnote: its promotional 8GB RAM claim includes 4GB of physical RAM and 4GB of virtual RAM. That footnote appears alongside the section advertising 64GB storage. It should not be silently applied to every selector label without further clarification.

For that reason, this price list does not describe the higher-priced selection as having a verified 8GB of physical RAM. What can be confirmed directly is that selecting the 8GB/128GB label changes the displayed price to Rs 7,999. The store's wording is preserved in the table so the distinction remains visible.

The storage difference is easier to read: the selector names 64GB and 128GB options. For someone keeping photographs, voice recordings and downloaded material locally, storage is a separate consideration from multitasking memory. Virtual RAM should not be counted as extra space available for those personal files.

A small-price handset with a distinctive screen feature

Infinix advertises a 90Hz display measuring 16.76cm diagonally, with an HD image and a punch-hole front camera. The refresh figure concerns how often the screen updates. It does not establish a high gaming frame rate or change the resolution of a photograph being viewed.

The page also identifies Magic Ring, a software interface around the camera area, and a fingerprint reader mounted on the side. These are distinct conveniences: one changes how information appears on the screen, while the other provides a physical location for fingerprint unlocking. They help describe the Smart 8 beyond its price and memory label.

The display and interface are useful points of comparison with the newer phone covered in our Infinix Smart 20 HD report. Model names alone do not show which panel, storage arrangement or software feature a particular listing includes.

Camera, battery and local storage

The India product page advertises a 50MP rear camera system and an 8MP selfie camera with a flash. Portrait and AR shooting modes are among the named functions. These establish the manufacturer's feature set, but they are not independent evidence of low-light image quality or how quickly the camera captures a moving subject.

A 5000mAh battery and Type-C charging are also listed. Infinix's page does not provide a clear charging-power figure in the Smart 8 feature section read for this report, so no wattage is assigned here. The connector shape and the speed at which a battery charges are separate specifications.

The advertised triple-card arrangement includes microSD expansion up to 2TB. That gives local media storage a different route from buying a larger internal-storage version, although a memory card and the phone's internal storage are not interchangeable in every application. The listed expansion capacity is a supported maximum, not a card included in the price.

Colours, coverage and ownership paperwork

Timber Black, Shiny Gold, Galaxy White and Rainbow Blue appear in the colour selector. The prices in this report were verified with Timber Black selected; a colour name elsewhere on the page is not being used as proof of a separate price or availability. Our Hot-series comparison covers another part of Infinix's range.

Infinix's limited-warranty page provides a one-year period from original retail purchase for manufacturing and material defects under normal use. It excludes normal ageing and several forms of damage. The warranty also tells owners to back up information before service because storage can be erased during the repair process.

The handset listing, warranty and delivery paperwork answer different questions. A catalogue price identifies the configuration being quoted; it does not settle delivery timing or establish the condition of an individual unit.
