NEW DELHI: Infinix GT 30 5G+ starts at Rs 21,999 on the company's India store, while the GT 30 Pro 5G+ starts at Rs 31,999. The cheaper phone therefore sits Rs 10,000 below the Pro at entry level. That comparison changes when storage is matched: the GT 30 with 256GB costs Rs 23,999, against Rs 31,999 for the Pro with the same storage.

Compare the same storage first
The entry prices compare different storage capacities. Moving the standard GT 30 to the larger capacity leaves an Rs 8,000 difference between phones with matching memory and storage. This is the more useful comparison for someone working out how much of the premium comes from hardware beyond the storage allocation.
Within the Pro range, the higher price increases RAM while leaving storage unchanged. That is a different upgrade from the standard model's storage step. A large game library and frequent app switching are separate demands; treating every higher variant as simply having more space would miss that distinction.
Gaming hardware changes, screen size does not
Infinix lists a Dimensity 7400 processor for the GT 30 and a Dimensity 8350 Ultimate for the Pro. Both have dedicated GT triggers. The Pro is therefore not the only route to shoulder controls in this pair, even though it occupies the higher price bracket.
The storage technology also changes from UFS 2.2 on the standard phone to UFS 4.0 on the Pro. This identifies a hardware difference beyond capacity. It does not, by itself, establish how quickly a particular game loads or how consistently either phone performs after a long session.
Both official sheets specify a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with refresh rates reaching 144Hz. A higher display refresh ceiling describes the screen's capability. It should be kept separate from the frame rate achieved by a game, which cannot be established from the price table.
The company's gaming positioning is clear, but this is a comparison of published specifications rather than a hands-on performance test. Sustained heat, touch comfort and frame stability would need direct testing before any stronger conclusion could be drawn.
Charging and cameras separate the pair
Both models list a typical 5,500mAh battery and maximum 45W wired charging. The Pro additionally lists 30W wireless charging. That gives it a charging feature absent from the standard model's published charging list, without making the wired charging rating higher.
The standard phone's highlighted rear camera is a 64MP Sony unit. The Pro lists a 108MP main camera with an 8MP ultrawide. The extra field of view is a more concrete distinction than assuming that a higher megapixel count automatically produces better photographs.
For readers comparing battery labels across brands, our explanation of typical and rated battery capacity provides useful context. Battery capacity alone does not settle endurance when the processor, display use and workload can differ.
Where the comparison fits
These models sit within a wider Infinix range. The separate Hot 70 Pro price list and Note 60 Pro price list cover other families; their prices should be read with their own reporting dates.
The useful distinction here is between a lower entry price and the additional hardware identified on the Pro's specification sheet. Matching storage makes that difference easier to understand. It still leaves camera output, everyday responsiveness and gaming endurance as questions that a specification comparison cannot answer on its own.
