NEW DELHI: Zebronics gives buyers on its own online store 4 days from delivery to ask for a return or replacement over a technical fault, and only 4 hours to report physical damage or a product that is dead on arrival. Money back is offered only for dead-on-arrival units. Every other accepted claim ends in a repair, a replacement or the same product being sent back. Policy and price as of 26 October 2026, 1 AM IST.

That is one of the tightest windows among the gadget brands we have checked. Portronics allows 7 days for a replacement and boAt also works on a 7-day replacement window, while Zebronics expects a fault to surface inside 4 days. With Diwali sales pushing TV, soundbar and monitor orders up, the practical advice is simple: open the box on the day it arrives, record the unboxing, and power the product on straight away.

What the Zebronics refund policy says

The refund policy page lists four rules that matter most to a buyer. Requests for technical issues must be placed within 4 days of receiving the product, and requests after that are not accepted. Physical damage or a dead-on-arrival unit not reported within 4 hours of delivery is not eligible for replacement. A product with no damage or defect cannot be returned because the buyer simply does not like it. Damage from an electrical surge or from the user is excluded.

Refunds apply only to dead-on-arrival products. Even then, the service team decides whether to send a new unit, subject to stock, or to refund. The product has to come back in its original condition with every accessory, cable and remote, and with the packaging intact. Zebronics arranges a reverse pick-up, which its page says typically takes 24 to 72 working hours, and the quality check and refund or exchange then take 7 to 10 working days. If the returned unit is found to be working, it is shipped back to the buyer.

Cancellation charges after shipping

Orders cancelled after they have shipped, or refused on delivery, attract a charge based on order value: Rs 150 below Rs 4,999, Rs 500 between Rs 5,000 and Rs 9,999, and Rs 750 at Rs 10,000 and above. A buyer who changes their mind about a Rs 31,999 Juke Bar 700 soundbar after it has left the warehouse would therefore lose Rs 750. Cancel before dispatch if you are unsure.

Dead on arrival under the warranty policy: 15 days

The separate warranty policy page is more generous on one point. It sets the dead-on-arrival period at 15 days from the date of purchase, for a product that does not turn on at all. The buyer has to take it to a nearby Zebcare service centre with the packing and accessories intact, and a confirmed defect earns a brand-new replacement. So a set that is dead out of the box should be reported to the online store within 4 hours, but the service-centre route stays open for 15 days.

The warranty page adds conditions worth knowing before a claim. Replacement colours are not guaranteed. If the same model is out of stock, Zebronics gives an alternative of equivalent value, priced at the current market rate or the invoice rate, whichever is lower. No dead-on-arrival claim is allowed on a product that has already been serviced on site. Products used for commercial purposes get only 3 months of warranty, though ordinary office use does not count as commercial.

Warranty periods for popular products

Televisions running Google software carry 2 years of onsite warranty, and TVs on other platforms 1 year onsite. Soundbars below the Juke Bar 4000 get 1 year with onsite service only at the dealer, while the Juke Bar 4000 and above, tower speakers and 5.1 systems get service up to the customer's home. A, S and N series monitors carry 3 years, the first onsite and the next two in-house, while V, E and G series monitors get 1 year in-house. Headphones, wireless earbuds, portable speakers and smartwatches get 1 year, and power banks, wired earphones and mobile cables only 6 months.

For a valid claim, keep the tax invoice, leave the warranty and serial stickers intact, and do not let anyone outside a Zebcare-authorised centre open the product. The policy also voids cover for surge or lightning damage, normal wear and tear and products bought outside Zebronics' authorised sales channels.
