NEW DELHI: Portronics sells 23 tyre inflators and car emergency tools on its own website, from Rs 1,549 for the cordless VayuGo to Rs 6,799 for the Volt Blast jump starter. 11 of them cost less than Rs 2,000, and the 6-in-1 Vayu Cop, which adds a jump starter and a vacuum cleaner, costs Rs 5,999. Price as of 26 October 2026, 1 AM IST.

With Diwali on 8 November and long drives home planned, a small pump in the boot is a cheap way to deal with a soft tyre before it turns into a flat. Every model below sells under the MRP printed on the same page, and the gap is often wide. The Vayu 10, for example, lists an MRP of Rs 4,999 and sells at Rs 1,699. Treat the MRP as a ceiling and the selling price as the real number.

The second column repeats what each product page leads with. Portronics does not use one spec format across the range, so some listings give a pressure rating and battery size while others do not. Where a figure is missing from the page, it is missing here too.

Under Rs 2,000: the everyday pumps

The cheapest options are the VayuGo at Rs 1,549, the Vayu Swift and Vayu 5.0 Lite at Rs 1,599 each, and the Vayu Lite at Rs 1,625. The VayuGo runs on two built-in 2000 mAh batteries, so it works without the car's 12V socket. The Vayu Swift is a corded pump with an LED light.

If you want both options, the Vayu Core at Rs 1,849 and the original Vayu at Rs 1,949 can run off their batteries or off the car plug. That matters on a long trip, because a cordless pump that has sat in the boot for months may have a flat battery when you need it.

Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000

This band holds most of the newer models. The Vayu 9.0 at Rs 2,199 and the Vayu Neo at Rs 2,299 are corded and cordless. The Vayu 2.0, at Rs 2,299, carries three 2000 mAh batteries according to its listing. The AirPlus and AirPro, at Rs 2,749 and Rs 2,799, are 5-in-1 pumps that also inflate large items such as air beds and deflate them. The pocket-sized Vayu Nano costs Rs 2,999 and lists a lower 120 PSI rating, which is still well above what car and bike tyres need.

Jump starters and the 4-in-1

Four models cost more than Rs 4,000. The Vayu Hybrid at Rs 4,499 runs off both a wall socket and the 12V car plug. The VayuCop Neo at Rs 4,599 pairs an inflator with a 12V jump starter, and the Vayu Cop at Rs 5,999 adds a vacuum cleaner, air blower, flashlight and power bank. The Volt Blast at Rs 6,799 is a jump starter with an air blower and its listing does not give a tyre pressure rating, so check that before buying it as a pump.

Warranty and returns
