Memory upgrades and the themed edition

The standard phone's price ladder separates storage from RAM. Moving to the middle configuration increases storage while retaining the same RAM. The highest standard configuration adds RAM while keeping that middle version's storage capacity. None of those selections changes the advertised main camera or processor.

The shared specifications page explicitly limits the Harry Potter Edition to the largest listed memory configuration. Its separate store listing highlights a colour-changing design. That makes the edition a distinct design choice within the same model, rather than evidence of a different chipset or a larger battery.

Realme lists Master Gold, Orchid Purple and Pebble Grey for the standard phone. The price checks above used Master Gold throughout, keeping the configuration comparison consistent. The edition's Magic Brown listing is identified separately so readers do not mistake its price for the ordinary top-memory version.

The camera system needs more than a megapixel count

The standard product page puts portrait photography at the centre of the 16 Pro. Its rear hardware consists of a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. A 50MP front camera provides the other major camera specification.

These are different views and functions, not interchangeable measures of quality. The wide camera handles the principal view, while the ultra-wide accommodates more of a scene. Optical stabilisation belongs to the main camera. The published hardware list does not identify a separate telephoto camera, which matters when interpreting the product page's zoom demonstrations.

Realme also promotes portrait processing, scene styles and editing features. These describe how the phone creates or modifies an image; they do not make a manufacturer demonstration an independent camera test. A large battery in a different kind of body

The official sheet lists a 7000mAh typical battery and 80W Ultra Charge support. It also lists a charger in the box, subject to the actual market package. Charging capability and battery capacity answer separate questions: one concerns replenishing energy, while the other describes the battery's nominal size.

The overview describes an all-flat form and a matte camera surround. Realme's specifications put the phone at about 192g, with dimensions subject to configuration and measurement differences. These physical details are more useful for understanding its design than treating all phones with the same battery capacity as equivalent in the hand.

Our fast-charging explainer covers the terminology behind charger compatibility. The 16 Pro sheet also lists PPS support, but an adapter's advertised wattage alone does not establish the charging speed of a particular phone and cable combination.

Display, processor and practical limits

The AMOLED display has a maximum 144Hz refresh rate. Realme names the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max as the processor and lists UFS 3.1 storage. These specifications remain the foundation of the model across the memory choices; the extra RAM in the top version is not a replacement for a different processing platform.

Storage expansion is unsupported, according to the India specification sheet. That gives the larger storage option a lasting practical role for owners retaining local photographs and video. Advertised capacity also includes space used by system software, so the full figure will not be free for personal files.

For connectivity, the sheet lists dual SIM support but marks eSIM and NFC as unsupported. A separate tablet may serve a different screen-related need; our realme Pad comparison explores that category. Within the 16 Pro range, the meaningful price distinctions are memory capacity and the special edition's design.
