NEW DELHI: realme Pad 2 Lite starts lower at Rs 18,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage version on the official India store. The Pad 3 Wi-Fi configuration with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is listed at Rs 31,999. That makes the gap Rs 13,000 between the two selected configurations, which differ in memory as well as their display and processor.
| Selected tablet | Configuration | Official price |
|---|---|---|
| realme Pad 2 Lite, Nebula Purple | 4GB RAM, 128GB storage | Rs 18,999 |
| realme Pad 3 Wi-Fi, Champagne Gold | 8GB RAM, 128GB storage | Rs 31,999 |

The configuration matters as much as the name
The Pad 3 amount above belongs specifically to the Wi-Fi listing. The broader product page also discusses a 5G version, but that does not make mobile-network connectivity part of the configuration priced here. A family-level feature page and an individual store selection answer different questions.
The Pad 2 Lite specifications list cellular bands, including 4G, alongside dual-band Wi-Fi. That is a useful distinction for a tablet used away from a fixed broadband connection. The network description should remain attached to the relevant model instead of being inferred from which tablet costs more.
Both selected products provide 128GB storage. The Pad 3 selection has twice the installed RAM of the entry Pad 2 Lite selection, so the price difference is not a like-for-like memory premium. The Pad 2 Lite store also shows a higher-memory option, whose price is outside this comparison.
Two different approaches to the screen
The Pad 3 feature page lists an 11.6-inch display with 2.8K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 7:5 aspect ratio. The Pad 2 Lite specifications instead list a 10.95-inch screen with 1920 by 1200 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz.
The aspect ratio affects how a document or webpage fits on the display, while resolution and refresh rate describe other parts of the screen. A higher refresh ceiling can support smoother movement, but it does not mean every video or application runs at that rate.
Screen size alone also does not settle how comfortable a tablet is to hold. The Pad 3 is listed at approximately 578g and 6.6mm thick. The Pad 2 Lite specifications give approximately 525g and 8.32mm. The larger model is thinner on those figures, while the smaller model is lighter.
Processors, sound and software
realme identifies a Dimensity 7300-Max processor for the Pad 3 and a Helio G99 for the Pad 2 Lite. These are the manufacturer's component specifications. They establish that the tablets use different platforms, without supplying a measured result for the same game, editing task or classroom application.
Both official descriptions list four speakers. That shared count gives some context to the entertainment positioning of the tablets, although loudness, clarity and channel separation still require listening tests. A specification sheet cannot establish how either device sounds in a busy room.
The Pad 3 page lists realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, while the Pad 2 Lite specification page lists realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. These are the software versions described on the product pages, not a guarantee about the update installed on an individual unit.
The Pad 3 also lists a side fingerprint sensor. Its official battery specification is 12,200mAh with 45W charging. These figures describe capacity and supported charging power; they do not establish a measured runtime or a full-charge time under identical conditions.
Putting the price difference in context
Our Infinix XPAD price coverage provides another tablet reference, while our report on the Ai+ NovaTab and Nova LapTab covers a separate product family. Their reporting dates and configurations should be checked independently.
For interpreting battery labels, see our guide to typical and rated capacity. Here, the verified Rs 13,000 gap accompanies a larger, higher-refresh display, a different processor and more RAM in the selected Pad 3. Connectivity remains a separate configuration question.
