NEW DELHI: Voltas lists four Vertis AI Zest Gold split air conditioners between Rs 36,000 and Rs 49,500 on its Indian website. The range combines 1-tonne and 1.5-tonne capacities with three-star and five-star versions. The lowest listed price belongs to the 123INV, while the 185INV sits at the top.

Price as of 26 October 2026, 14:18 IST. Voltas labels the lower amounts “Offer Price” and says they include taxes. They are the prices displayed by the brand, before any separate bank or exchange calculation. Shipping is stated to be calculated at checkout, and delivery serviceability requires an address check.

Capacity and efficiency are separate choices

The four-model table is important because moving up in price does not always mean moving to a larger nominal capacity. The 1-tonne five-star 125INV is listed above the 1.5-tonne three-star 183INV. Reading only the price ladder would therefore obscure what changes between the appliances.

The product codes also help distinguish the cooling ratings. Voltas specifies 3,350W for the 123INV and 3,450W for the 125INV. For the larger pair, it lists 5,100W for the 183INV and 5,050W for the 185INV. These are cooling-capacity figures, not electricity-consumption figures.

The nominal tonne label is useful for grouping products, but the exact specification remains relevant when matching an AC to a room. This comparison does not turn a capacity label into a guaranteed room-area recommendation, or use the cooling wattage to estimate a household's electricity bill.

What the shared AI features do

All four product pages list operation through the Voltas Intelligence app, AI Adaptive Cooling, Energy Manager and geofencing. Voltas describes adaptive cooling as responding to room conditions and usage patterns. Its geofencing feature is intended to support changes such as pre-cooling or standby based on the user's location.

The shared equipment list includes a six-step adjustable mode, four-way swing, Ice Wash and a filter-clean reminder. Voltas also lists high-ambient cooling support up to 52 degrees Celsius. That is a manufacturer operating claim; it does not establish identical cooling output or power consumption in every room at that temperature.

The 185INV page describes copper construction, protective coil coatings, a compressor acoustic jacket and gas-leak detection. The 123INV, 125INV and 183INV feature lists also name these items. Their presence explains what the family shares, while the price table preserves the differences in nominal capacity and star classification.

Energy Manager does not impose a hard bill limit

The separate Energy Manager terms explain an important limitation. Users can set a monthly electricity-unit target and receive alerts at 50%, 75% and 100% of that target. The system provides consumption tracking, including a daily cumulative view, through the app.

Voltas explicitly says the AC continues operating normally after the selected limit is reached. The alerts are informational. A household should therefore read the feature as a way to monitor usage, rather than a promise that the machine will stop consuming electricity at a chosen budget.

The terms also describe optional automatic optimisation. That remains separate from the alert thresholds. Neither feature, on the evidence of these pages, supplies a fixed rupee saving that can simply be deducted from the appliance price or used as a guaranteed payback calculation.

Keep the full variant on the quotation

Voltas uses the same family name across the four combinations. The short code, nominal capacity and star rating should all appear together when comparing quotations. The 123INV page contains a stray five-star reference in its description, but its title, model feature table and range listing identify it as three-star; this table follows those matching identifiers.
