NEW DELHI: The iQOO Z10R lists at Rs 24,999 for the selected 8GB/256GB Aquamarine version on its India store, against Rs 31,999 for vivo's selected Y400 5G 8GB/128GB Dynamic Green version. That is a Rs 7,000 gap, with the cheaper listing also offering more storage. These are selected-variant prices, not verified starting prices for every configuration.

Price as of 5 November 2026, 01:55 IST. The Z10R store page marked the selected configuration unavailable when checked. Its displayed price remains useful as a reference, but does not establish that an order can be placed. No exchange valuation or bank benefit has been deducted from either figure.

The storage mismatch changes the comparison

The two pages should not be treated as a comparison of identical memory packages. Both selected phones have the same physical RAM allocation, while the iQOO listing doubles the stated internal capacity. Someone maintaining a large offline photo library therefore encounters a different storage proposition before looking at processor names or camera claims.

Neither selected page supplies a verified price for every alternative shown in its selector. The Y400 offers another storage choice, while Z10R lists additional RAM and storage combinations. Those buttons establish that alternatives exist, not what they currently cost. This comparison consequently stays with the configurations whose names and prices appear together.

Charging is vivo's clearest numerical distinction

The Y400's larger battery and higher supported charging power are its most obvious differences here. The battery specification describes capacity, while the charging specification describes supported power. Neither establishes how long a particular person's navigation, camera use or video calls will last between sockets.

vivo also explains that actual charging power changes with conditions. Its supplied standard charger supports the advertised maximum. That qualification matters for a phone kept on a desk during a busy workday: a headline wattage should not be read as a constant power reading throughout every charge, especially when the handset is being used.

iQOO advertises bypass charging on Z10R, a mode that supplies power directly to the phone to reduce battery heat. This is a different function from filling the battery quickly. For plugged-in play, the relevant question is whether that mode suits the session, rather than assuming the larger charging number describes every aspect of thermal behaviour.

Matching megapixels conceal a camera difference

The identical-looking camera totals in the table do not make these the same imaging system. iQOO identifies a Sony IMX882 main sensor with optical image stabilisation and promotes recording in 4K from both front and rear cameras. vivo identifies the Y400's main sensor as Sony IMX852. Shared resolution alone cannot settle video flexibility or handheld results.

That distinction is especially relevant to a reader recording a speaking-to-camera clip and then switching to the street scene behind the phone. Z10R's published recording features answer a specific workflow question. They still do not amount to an independently tested verdict on image quality, focus consistency or sound recording.

Screen shape and software deserve a separate look

Z10R's store describes a quad curved screen, while Y400's official specification lists a slightly smaller panel. Both publish AMOLED displays and support for refresh rates up to 120Hz. Screen geometry is a handling difference that a resolution table cannot fully convey, particularly when checking edge gestures or selecting a protective cover.

Both specification pages list Funtouch OS based on Android 15. That describes the published software baseline, not a promise that every delivered unit will have identical updates installed. Readers tracking the brand's broader software plans can consult our vivo rollout report and iQOO rollout coverage.

The price gap thus sits alongside concrete trade-offs in charging, storage and cameras. For an explanation of battery labels used in these specifications, see our typical versus rated capacity guide. This is a comparison of published specifications and displayed prices, with no hands-on performance ranking.

The Y400 parameter page lists UFS 3.1 storage and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor. Those details put its larger charging figure in a fuller hardware context. They also show why comparing prices through a single headline feature can obscure the combination actually being sold. The selected memory package, rather than a family-level advertisement, is the unit of comparison here.
