iQOO has published its India schedule for Android 17-based OriginOS 7, listing 13 phones across rollout windows from late October 2026 to late February 2027. The iQOO 15 is first in line. The schedule, posted by iQOO Connect Official on 10 October, does not mean the update is already available on every listed handset.
The official rollout chart puts iQOO 15 at the end of October. iQOO 15R and iQOO 13 follow in mid-November, while iQOO 12, iQOO Neo 10 and iQOO Neo 10R are scheduled for mid-December.
The largest group is due at the end of January 2027: iQOO Neo 9 Pro, iQOO Z11 5G, iQOO Z11x 5G, iQOO Z11xa 5G, iQOO Z10 5G and iQOO Z10R 5G. The iQOO Z10x 5G has a later window, at the end of February 2027.
Carrier-exclusive models are outside the published schedule, with their updates determined by the carrier. Nor does omission from this chart establish that a phone will never receive the software. Owners need to match their exact model rather than assume every handset sharing a series name has the same timetable.
Rollout eligibility and feature eligibility differ
Getting OriginOS 7 is not a guarantee that every feature on its promotional page will be present. iQOO's India feature page qualifies availability by model, hardware, system version, region and language. Origin Workbench, for example, is limited to specified models with at least 12GB RAM. Workbench is designed for opening and switching between multiple windows. The minimum memory condition alone does not make every 12GB phone eligible.
Apple Watch connectivity is listed for a future over-the-air update on selected numbered-series iQOO 13 and later models. It requires a compatible Watch Series 6 or SE 2 or later, watchOS 9.6 or later, and previous activation using an iPhone. It should not be treated as a working India feature on every handset in this rollout chart.
The company's 72-month smoothness claim is based on laboratory ageing tests. It is a performance claim, not a promise of six years of Android-version upgrades. Buyers comparing long-term support should look for the support commitment attached to the exact phone separately from claims about how smoothly software runs.
The preview programme is a separate choice
iQOO also has support information for an OriginOS 7 preview programme on iQOO 15. Preview software is a beta release, and the company warns about stability risks and the need to back up data. The existence of those instructions does not confirm that applications are still open or that the preview is the standard update route for other models.
The India feature page also lists an updated recorder that distinguishes speakers, marks highlights and generates summaries. Its footnote limits those functions to selected devices, countries and languages and says AI output is for reference. These are model-level checks for anyone expecting to use the update for work or study.
Another listed tool, Snap & Go, can extract journey or event details from screenshots and suggest Google Calendar entries through Origin Island. iQOO limits this function to selected devices, regions and third-party apps, so compatibility needs checking.
A backup also needs to be usable, rather than simply switched on. Before a substantial software change, an owner can check that essential files and contacts exist in the intended backup destination. Dalimss News' phone-data checklist covers backup hygiene, although its sign-out and factory-reset steps concern selling or handing over a phone, not routine installation of an update.
The schedule can also inform a purchase comparison without deciding it. The iQOO 15R, previously covered in Dalimss News' India buying report, sits in the November group rather than the October one. That older article is price context, not evidence of a current deal or proof that a newly purchased unit already carries OriginOS 7.
Audio Redirect is described as allowing different audio to play through the phone's speaker and a Bluetooth device at the same time. Other listed additions include battery-life estimates and live updates on the always-on display. For the latter, iQOO limits support to selected models and third-party apps; the display feature is not promised for every phone.
