NEW DELHI: vivo X300 starts lower at Rs 83,999 for the 12GB/256GB Mist Blue listing checked on the official India store, while the company's public store promotion page displays the X300 Pro at Rs 1,19,999. The India Pro specification lists a 16GB/512GB configuration. The Rs 36,000 gap therefore covers different memory capacities as well as different cameras and body sizes.

Price as of 1 November 2026, 00:33 IST. The Pro amount is the product price printed on vivo's public Newcomer gift page, before any separately advertised coupon. The X300 amount comes from its selected product page. These are not matched-memory quotations or an assertion of stock availability.

The entry comparison also doubles storage from 256GB to 512GB and adds 4GB of RAM on the Pro. Those differences belong in the price comparison before any camera premium is inferred.

The 200MP camera moves to a different lens

The important camera distinction is easy to miss when both phones are described through the same megapixel headline. On the X300, the high-resolution sensor belongs to the main camera. On the Pro, it belongs to the telephoto camera. They are consequently not interchangeable specifications for the same kind of picture.

The regular model still has a dedicated telephoto camera, with optical stabilisation and optical zoom. The Pro changes the zoom camera and also uses a different main sensor. Calling it simply an X300 with a larger screen would leave out the most substantial reason its imaging system is different.

That separation matters at an Indian wedding or a stage performance. A photograph taken from close to the subject and a photograph taken from the back of the audience use different framing. The camera carrying the larger pixel count can therefore change with the situation. This explains the specification difference without claiming a tested image-quality winner.

The smaller phone is a distinct design choice

The X300 weighs 190g in the official specification, compared with 226g for the Pro. The difference is 36g. That is worth keeping separate from the price premium because the Pro is physically a larger device, not just a higher-memory version of the same body.

The regular phone's display resolution is 2640 x 1216, while the Pro lists 2800 x 1260. Both use AMOLED. The figures describe different panels and different sizes; the larger resolution should not be interpreted on its own as a proportionate improvement in visible sharpness.

Both India parameter pages name the same MediaTek processor and list LPDDR5X Ultra memory with UFS 4.1 storage. A higher selling price therefore does not establish that the Pro uses a newer main processor. Its camera system, display size, battery capacity and available memory configuration provide more concrete distinctions.

Charging power is shared, battery size is not

The Pro's battery is larger by 470 mAh using the typical capacities published for India. Both list the same wired charging ceiling. Those facts do not establish equal charging times or a proportional runtime advantage. Our battery-capacity explainer provides context for the capacity labels.

The checked specifications list OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 on both phones, as well as ultrasonic fingerprint readers. Future software delivery should be considered separately from that original specification. Our vivo OriginOS rollout coverage addresses update timing.

This comparison concerns the X300 and X300 Pro, with the exact listings identified above. The separately named FE has its own hardware and pricing; our X300 FE store-price report should not be used as a specification sheet for either phone here.
