NEW DELHI: The TVS iQube ST 5.3 kWh has a 17.78 cm TFT touchscreen with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution, according to its official variant page. Its dashboard combines ride information with music controls, call alerts and connected functions, but the specifications also distinguish features that work through the mobile app from those using the telematics unit.

A screen specification is only the starting point
The display's size and resolution describe the screen, rather than proving how every function will work in an owner's daily routine. For this version, TVS also lists a joystick as an input method. That makes it important to look at the actual controls as well as the touchscreen when learning the scooter's interface.
The official feature section identifies touchscreen operation, music play and pause, and incoming-call alerts. Those are separate functions. An alert tells the rider that something has happened, while an interactive control lets the user take an action. The presence of both should not be turned into an assumption that every phone function is reproduced on the scooter.
Day and night modes can be selected manually or automatically, according to the specification. That is a useful interface detail for someone who uses the scooter at different times of day. This report does not make an independent claim about readability in bright sunlight or the speed of the touchscreen response.
Understand which connection a feature uses
The ST variant page says Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation operate through the mobile app. It separately attributes geofencing, anti-theft alerts and live indicator status to the telematics unit. Treating all of these as one undifferentiated package of screen features would hide how TVS describes their operation.
For an owner, this distinction provides a useful way to frame a question during setup. If navigation is the concern, the app connection is relevant. If an away-from-the-scooter alert is the concern, the telematics description is relevant. It does not follow that every feature has the same requirements or behaves identically.
The page also promotes remote charge status and voice-related features within its connected-functions section. Their presence on the product page identifies the advertised functions. It does not establish subscription prices, the duration of included services or every phone-compatibility condition, none of which is being inferred here.
Use the battery display without confusing it with a promise
TVS lists battery level, a low-battery indication and distance to empty. Together, these offer different views of the same practical issue: how the scooter's remaining energy relates to its next journey. A percentage and a distance estimate are different readings and should be understood in their own terms.
The ST's official battery specification is 5.3 kWh, with a published 212 km IDC range. That laboratory-cycle label belongs beside the range figure. A dashboard estimate is not a replacement certification figure, and this article makes no claim that the scooter will deliver the advertised distance on every household journey.
A family sharing the iQube ST has a particular reason to understand this interface. The person who parked and charged it may not be the next person to use it. Learning where to find battery information, what an alert means and which connection supports a function can make that handover clearer without relying on a remembered marketing headline.
Keep the ST specification attached to the ST
The figures here come from the ST 5.3 kWh page. They should not be applied automatically to every scooter carrying the iQube badge. Our iQube price report covers a different aspect of the range and should be read with its own model and price basis.
For wider ownership context, see our family-scooter service and warranty comparison. Our charging-claim comparison likewise shows why the exact product and measurement need to remain attached to a specification.
The dashboard is best understood as a set of controls, readings and connected services with different jobs. Identifying those jobs is more useful than treating the screen dimension alone as a complete account of what the iQube ST can do.
