NEW DELHI: If you buy earbuds or a smartwatch from Noise's own website and the parcel arrives damaged or with the wrong product, you have one day from receipt to ask for a refund or replacement, according to the brand's refund and replacement policy. Fire-Boltt gives 7 days to report a damaged or faulty item but does not offer refunds. Boult asks buyers to get in touch "immediately", gives no day count, and says it cannot accept returns on sale items. Policies as of 27 October 2026, 12:30 AM IST.

All three sell earbuds and smartwatches through their own online stores as well as on marketplaces, and many buyers pick a gift in the weeks before Diwali on 8 November. The rules below apply to orders placed on each brand's own website. Marketplace orders follow the marketplace's return policy, so check the listing before you pay.

Noise: one day, and only for three problems

Noise's policy lists three situations. If the product never arrives, you can cancel and the full amount is refunded within 14 working days, and the company says it is not responsible for delays caused by banks, calamities or national holidays. If you receive the wrong product or a damaged one, Noise arranges a reverse pickup, and the refund or replacement goes ahead only after it receives and checks the complete product with its packaging and accessories.

That last part matters. The policy says the cost of any missing or damaged items, including the box, that you did not report will be deducted from the refund, and if you want a replacement you must pay for missing items before it ships. Noise also says it will not refund or replace a defect-free product because of its look and feel, minor differences in shade or colour, or sound quality.

There is a mismatch worth knowing about. The general terms of use on the same site say that if you change your mind you can return items, and point to the return policy for details. The return policy itself, as quoted above, refuses refunds for products that have no defect. If you are buying on a whim, plan on the stricter reading.

Fire-Boltt: 7 days, replacement but no refund

Fire-Boltt's return and refund policy gives buyers 7 days from receiving the product to contact customer support about a damaged or faulty item, through a ticket on its helpline. If the item is found to be defective or damaged, it is replaced free of charge. The policy says plainly that Fire-Boltt does not offer refunds and that all sales are final unless the product is faulty or damaged, and the item must come back in its original condition.

Boult: no fixed window, no returns on sale items

Boult's refund policy page asks buyers to inspect the order on receipt and contact the company at once if it is defective, damaged or wrong, so that it can evaluate the issue. It does not put a number of days on this. The page lists items that cannot be returned, most of them unrelated to electronics, such as perishables and personal care goods, and then adds that returns cannot be accepted on sale items or gift cards. For anyone buying Boult earbuds at a festive price on the brand's site, that line is the one to note.

What to do on delivery day

With windows of a day or less on two of these three stores, the safest habit is to record a short video while opening the parcel, check the model and colour against the invoice, and charge and pair the product the same day. Keep the box and every accessory, since Noise links refunds to receiving the complete package. If something is wrong, raise it in writing through the brand's support channel and keep the ticket number.
