NEW DELHI: KENT lists the Vortex Plus wet and dry vacuum cleaner at Rs 4,149 and the Vortex Pro at Rs 5,699, including tax. The Rs 1,550 difference separates a 12L ABS-bodied cleaner from a 20L stainless-steel model. Both official product pages specify a maximum power rating of 1200W.

Tank size is the clearest difference
For a household clearing rooms before guests arrive, the practical question is often where the collected dirt goes and how the cleaner will be emptied afterwards. The larger tank changes that routine. It does not remove the need to handle the contents, maintain the filter or make space to park the machine and its hose when the cleaning is finished.
KENT describes the Plus with a 12L ABS body, rubberised wheels, a blower and HEPA filtration. The Pro combines a 20L stainless-steel tank with wet and dry cleaning, a blower and HEPA filtration. Both therefore belong to the manually operated canister category, rather than offering the unattended floor-cleaning routine associated with a robot.
The Pro accessory description names a flexible hose, extension tubes, a combined crevice tool, a crevice nozzle, floor brush and wet brush. That is useful detail when checking the carton. A photograph can show the cleaner assembled, but a written accessory list gives an owner something concrete to compare against the delivery.
Read the motor claim beside the specification table
There is a discrepancy within the Pro page: its FAQ describes a higher motor rating than the Plus, while both technical sections specify the same maximum wattage. This comparison follows those technical tables. It would be misleading to present the Pro as having a higher rated motor input on the evidence available.
The vacuum-pressure figures do differ, as the table shows. They should still be read as manufacturer specifications. They do not constitute an independent test of dust pickup from a particular carpet, curtain or sofa. The cleaning head, access to the surface and operating conditions matter to the result, so a pressure number alone cannot settle the whole comparison.
KENT lists the Plus at 3.6 kg net weight. The reviewed Pro technical section does not provide a matching weight figure. No weight ranking is possible from these pages. For a home with stairs, the missing comparison matters because rolling a cleaner across a room and carrying it between floors are different tasks.
Wet pickup needs its own routine
Wet and dry capability is especially relevant when the same cleaning session includes ordinary dust and a liquid spill. The owner should follow the supplied manual for changing between those jobs and for filter handling. A general capability claim does not mean every filter arrangement or attachment is appropriate for every material that might be on the floor.
Think through the storage route as well as the cleaning route. A canister might fit in a utility corner while its tubes and brush still need a separate place. Where furniture is closely spaced, check how the hose will reach behind it and where the machine can stand without blocking movement. These are useful planning checks for either Vortex configuration.
For other cleaning formats, our KENT Ace Plus Neo 2Y vs Supreme Plus Neo 2Y price: Supreme Plus Neo 2Y starts lower at Rs 20,499 covers compact cleaners. The KENT Digital air fryer price list: Rs 4,449 to Rs 9,749 addresses automated floor cleaning, while the KENT Sterling IoT vs Sapphire IoT price: Sapphire IoT starts lower at Rs 22,199 explains why filter treatment needs a separate reading of service terms. Those products have their own specifications and policies.
The technical tables specify single-phase 220V to 240V AC at 50Hz to 60Hz for both cleaners. Plus lists noise at 80dBA, while Pro lists 78dBA to 80dBA. Pro also publishes airflow of 2.11 cubic metres per minute.
A second discrepancy concerns Pro's tank: its best-features section and capacity description state 20 litres, while its FAQ states up to 30 litres. The 20-litre entry in this comparison follows the main product description. KENT's Pro FAQ states a one-year warranty and publishes 9278912345 for customer care, with a service window of 10am to 6pm. Its main description identifies the HEPA filter as washable.
