NEW DELHI: CMF Phone 2 Pro's official support page quotes approximately 65 minutes for a full charge with an official Nothing charger. That figure comes with conditions: the company recommends a PPS charger, room-temperature surroundings and a switched-off screen. Indian buyers should also check the box, because the official contents list includes an adaptor and case for India.

Read the time with its conditions attached

The important word in the support answer is “approximately”. Nothing says charging speed varies with temperature and charger protocol. Treat the published time as a reference for the stated setup, rather than a deadline that every charging session must meet.

For a useful comparison at home, note the starting battery level, the charger you used and whether the screen stayed on. Comparing a nearly empty phone on one occasion with a partly charged phone on another will not tell you whether the handset is reproducing a full-charge result.

The support answer does not set out a detailed start-percentage test procedure. That limits how precisely an owner can recreate the published result. A longer session, by itself, cannot establish a battery defect or identify the cable as the cause.

Check the Indian box before buying an adaptor

The model-specific contents page lists the handset, a Type-C cable, safety information, a pre-applied screen protector and a SIM-tray tool. It then identifies the case and adaptor as India-only inclusions. That regional note is particularly useful when a global unboxing or overseas product listing describes a different package.

Check the actual package and invoice for your Indian unit. If you are enquiring about a missing item, describe the market and exact model. A claim about what came with another CMF phone will not resolve whether the correct Phone 2 Pro package was supplied.

The support list does not identify an adaptor model number or its output profiles. Avoid filling that gap with a charger specification taken from a different regional box. Read the supplied adaptor's label and seek confirmation through the brand's support route if the contents do not match.

Keep charging power separate from memory claims

The India product page shows an Orange, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage selection, alongside the 5000mAh battery and four-camera description. Those details help establish which product page you are reading. They do not alter the charging conditions given in the support answer.

This is a practical distinction for a household replacing a phone and reusing existing accessories. Keep the handset configuration, the bundled equipment and the charging setup as separate entries in your notes. Otherwise, an assumption about a familiar cable or an overseas package can become part of the diagnosis without being checked.

Our guide to USB PD, PPS and SUPERVOOC explains the terminology. For Phone 2 Pro, the model's own PPS recommendation is the relevant instruction when interpreting its published charging time.

Use the support checks before escalating

The CMF feature guide recommends charging between 20°C and 30°C in its general temperature answer. Its battery-specific answer gives the narrower example shown in the table. Both answers point owners towards a controlled room-temperature comparison rather than a timing run under very different surroundings.

The same feature guide directs owners to Settings, System, System update to check available software. It also recommends backing up important information before service. Checking for an update is a documented maintenance step; it is not a promise that an update will correct a particular charging complaint.

If the problem persists, report what actually happened: the adaptor used, whether charging repeatedly disconnected, the starting charge and the approximate surroundings. This gives the service team something concrete to assess. Do not convert the 65-minute reference into an automatic replacement entitlement.

Readers comparing ownership terms can also consult our phone and accessory warranty explainer and Samsung repair-terms guide. Those cover separate brands; the CMF package and charging instructions above come from its own official material.
