CBSE announces Skill Expo regional winners from Amritsar, Gurugram, Ambala and Shimla

CBSE has published the Skill Expo 2026-27 regional results for events held at Amritsar, Gurugram, Ambala and Shimla. The Skill Education notification dated 7 September 2026 covers schools under the Ludhiana, Gurugram and Panchkula Regional Offices and lists project names, themes and ranks against CBSE affiliation numbers rather than student names in the public PDF.

Under Ludhiana, Rank I entries include Cyber Drive: Play And Protect in Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics, and Glare Guard in Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy. Other Ludhiana placings named include Smdrishti- The Soul Stitch and Smart Classroom Management System in Media, Design and Communication.

Gurugram, Ambala and Shimla placings

Gurugram winners listed include Neurosense (Health and Wellness, Rank I), Trustlens Ai (Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy, Rank II), Pranvayu (Health and Wellness, Rank II), Greenify (Environment and Sustainability, Rank III) and Dadi Ma K Nuskhe (Health and Wellness, Rank III).

For the Ambala regional event under Panchkula Regional Office, Rank I includes Braillifi in Media, Design and Communication. Other Ambala placings named are Alcolock - Smart Vehicle Ignition Interlock System, an AI Autonomous Surveillance Quadcopter project, and Cloudchakra. Shimla regional winners include The Drawer (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics, Rank I), a Heat Detection and Automatic Cooling System project, Indian Sign Language Translator, and The Echo Effect.

Path to the national event in January 2027

CBSE says separate emails have gone to position-holder schools with student and mentor names. All regional winners from these four events are now eligible for the National Level Event, proposed tentatively for January 2027. Schools that did not place should treat the table as closed for these venues; the notification does not invite appeals or revaluation.

Winning teams should keep project kits and mentor contacts ready for the January national call. Affiliation numbers printed in the notification are the official identifiers schools should quote for travel or national-stage paperwork. Dr Biswajit Saha, Professor and Director (Skill Education), signed the results note.

Teachers who planned September duty leave for related Board events should file revised leave applications where dates have moved and brief escorts so families do not travel on the old calendar.

School notice boards should carry the official notification number and PDF link from cbseacademic.nic.in so staff do not rely on forwarded screenshots without the full venue or date table.

Students named for travel should keep identity proofs and school authorisation letters ready in the format their regional office usually demands for outstation Board programmes.

Principals of listed schools should confirm that mentors received the private email trail and diary the tentative January 2027 national window on the school calendar.

Other regions still staging Skill Expo shows can study the winning theme mix when they brief Class IX to XII project teams for the next cycle.
