TURIN: Alfa Romeo has released new exterior and interior glimpses of its Cuorerosso concept ahead of its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show on 12 October. The photographs, issued with a company announcement on 10 October, show selected details of the red car while keeping its complete shape under wraps.

The Italian brand describes Cuorerosso as a design manifesto exploring its future direction. It explicitly says the project is not a preview of a future production model. That distinction means the teaser cannot be read as confirmation of a new showroom car or a replacement for an existing Alfa Romeo.

The project comes from Alfa Romeo's Centro Stile design centre in Turin. In the new official announcement, the company says the relationship between the driver and the car has guided work on both the body and cabin. It has not released powertrain specifications, performance figures or a production timetable.

What the Cuorerosso teaser shows

The official three-panel image concentrates on small areas rather than a complete front, side or rear view. One panel shows a narrow exterior mirror housing with alternating dark and light sections, including green, white and red accents. Red bodywork and a slim support are visible beneath it.

A second panel focuses on a metallic interior control with the Alfa Romeo emblem, framed by a red illuminated strip and dark cabin surfaces. The third shows a round red lamp set into a dark recess alongside sculpted red bodywork. The close crops leave the relationship between these components and the full car for the unveiling.

These are the details directly visible in the photographs. Alfa Romeo has not identified the interior component's function in the accompanying text, so describing it as a particular type of gear selector or control would go beyond the information supplied. The images also provide no basis for stating the car's dimensions or seating layout.

The name itself was announced on 29 September. Alfa Romeo explained that Cuorerosso combines the Italian words for heart and red, linking the concept to the colour associated with the marque and its emphasis on the emotional experience of driving. The October update moves that earlier naming announcement forward with views of the car's actual design details.

Paris reveal and the cars sharing its stand

The concept will be unveiled on Alfa Romeo's stand in Hall 4 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The brand's published press-conference schedule gives 10:55 am CEST on 12 October, equivalent to 2:25 pm IST. The show organiser lists the overall event dates as 12 to 18 October.

According to Alfa Romeo's official Paris event page, Cuorerosso will appear alongside the Junior, Tonale, Giulia, Stelvio and 33 Stradale. The display will also include a Spider Duetto from the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, marking the model's 60th anniversary. The stand therefore brings together the concept, the current range and a historic car.

The production models arrive after a separate range update announced on 6 October. That release details revised interiors for the Junior, including new door panels, contrasting stitching, seat materials and dashboard finishes. It also introduces new 19-inch wheel designs and sets out equipment differences across the Junior, Sprint, Ti and Veloce versions. The Junior production range includes front-wheel-drive hybrid, Q4 all-wheel-drive hybrid and fully electric powertrains, according to the same release.

For the Giulia and Stelvio, the same 6 October range announcement lists a driver-monitoring camera integrated into the A-pillar, updated software, black-and-white Alfa Romeo emblems and an Anodized Blue colour option. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio receives 21-inch wheels as standard. These are changes to existing production vehicles; Alfa Romeo has not assigned their equipment or engines to Cuorerosso.

For Indian readers following European performance brands, Dalimss News has also covered BMW's limited-edition India pre-orders and the Porsche Cayenne Electric's India launch. Cuorerosso's next confirmed step is its Paris unveiling. The announcements reviewed do not include an India launch plan, booking window or price.
