TN M.Pharm Round 1 provisional allotment

The Tamil Nadu Selection Committee has published the provisional Round 1 allotment list for M.Pharm degree courses for the 2026-27 session. The pages are headed “M.PHARM Degree Courses Session: 2026-2027” and state that the candidates were allotted on 15 September 2026. The list is issued through the Directorate of Medical Education and Research and records rank, application number, community, service status, total mark and allotted specialty or institution.

The PDF runs to 81 pages. Its first page begins with rank 1 and the final pages reach serial number 990. The serial number and rank are not identical throughout the document because the list contains rank labels such as 15A and 35A in addition to ordinary rank numbers. Candidates should therefore use the application number printed in their row as the strongest check when locating an entry.

Top rows show specialties and colleges

The first row lists application number 26MPH060466, community SC and a total mark of 68.4. The allotted specialty is Pharmacology at Madras Medical College, Chennai. The second row records Sree Priyadharshini R with 65.52 and Pharmacology at the same college. The third row records Saishreemathi N with 64.8 and Pharmaceutics at Madras Medical College, Chennai.

Other early rows show the spread of specialties and institutions in the list. Shree Akshaya Mohanraj Nalliah is listed for Pharmaceutics at Madurai Medical College, Madurai, while Charumathi N is listed for Pharmacology at Madras Medical College. The table also contains Ph Chemistry and later Pharmaco-gnosy entries. The PDF uses the specialty and institution together in the allotted-to field.

The first page includes community entries such as SC, BC, MBC&DNC and OC, and it has a separate service column. Where the service field is blank, the row still shows the candidate’s community and total mark. In later pages, the list includes rows marked Service. Candidates should read all the columns for their own application rather than treating the rank alone as the allotment.

A wide list across 81 pages

The early pages continue with Madras Medical College, Madurai Medical College and self-financing pharmacy institutions. Later entries include colleges in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and other locations named in the PDF. The list does not reduce the allotment to one specialty or one type of institution. It records the institution and specialty allotted to each listed candidate.

The total marks move down the list as the rank increases, but the document should not be read as a cut-off notice. It is an allotment list, and its columns are designed to identify the candidate and the seat. The first page describes it as provisional, so the status of the record should not be upgraded to final when it is quoted or shared.

A candidate checking the result can search the PDF for the application number beginning 26MPH. The matching row should then be checked for name, rank, community, service entry, total mark, specialty and college. The institution name may wrap across more than one line, especially for self-financing colleges, so the next line should be read before the row is copied.

The document also shows how the Selection Committee has handled ties or adjacent rank labels. For example, rank 15 and rank 15A both appear on the opening pages, while 35 and 35A appear on page two. Such labels are printed in the official list and should be retained exactly if a candidate records the allotment for later reference.

The list contains Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Ph Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharm Analysis entries. These are not separate notices in the PDF. They are categories within the M.Pharm allotment record. Candidates should confirm the spelling and specialty shown in their own row before discussing a course or institution.

The 15 September allotment file is therefore a detailed provisional record rather than a short announcement. Its 81 pages and 990 serial entries give candidates a row-level way to check the Round 1 outcome. Keeping the application number, specialty, college and provisional label together will make that check more reliable.
