To check Subhadra Yojana status, use the Odisha government's Subhadra portal or take your application acknowledgement to an Ama Seba Kendra or Common Service Centre. The official FAQ identifies both routes. Eligible women receive Rs 10,000 a year in two instalments of Rs 5,000, subject to the scheme's conditions. An application receipt, an eligibility decision and a bank credit are separate things, so first identify which stage needs checking.

Subhadra Yojana status check: where to start
Open the official Subhadra portal rather than a similarly named results page. Its public FAQ says applicants can check their status through the portal or obtain help at an authorised service centre. It also explains that successful submission by centre staff generates an acknowledgement with a unique identification number for tracking. Keep that receipt available when asking about the application.
The portal provides application and beneficiary services alongside grievance facilities. Follow the current instructions shown there for your own record. This guide does not reproduce a fixed sequence of authentication screens because those can change. No applicant's personal record was accessed for this article. A public beneficiary list alone should not be treated as proof that a particular instalment has reached the bank.
If an application is awaiting a decision, ask the centre which verification remains outstanding. The guidelines provide for checks against government databases and field enquiry where required. For a payment problem after approval, separately check the bank account's status and payment readiness. These checks address different possible causes of delay and help avoid submitting another application unnecessarily.
Who is eligible for Subhadra Yojana?
The official English guidelines require Odisha residence and age of at least 21 but below 60 on the qualifying date. They recognise households covered by the National Food Security Act or State Food Security Scheme. A woman from a household without either card may apply if family income does not exceed Rs 2.50 lakh, subject to the other conditions.
Age eligibility has to be checked for the relevant financial year. The original guidelines give 1 July 2024 for 2024-25; that historical date should not be reused as a current application deadline. The portal's FAQ also distinguishes later financial years. Applicants seeking a 2026-27 decision should confirm the applicable qualifying-date instruction with the portal or service centre.
The exclusions extend beyond income. The guidelines include specified government employment and pension situations, income-tax-paying family members, certain public representatives, and landholding limits. A family owning more than five acres of irrigated land or ten acres of non-irrigated land falls within the land exclusion. Other asset conditions also apply, so meeting the age and income tests alone does not establish eligibility.
Women receiving assistance such as a pension or scholarship of Rs 1,500 or more monthly, or Rs 18,000 or more annually, under a state or central scheme are excluded under the stated rules. Honorarium workers such as ASHA and Anganwadi workers are not automatically excluded by that work: they must still satisfy the remaining conditions. The authorities determine eligibility after verification.
Documents, bank account and application process
The requirements include Aadhaar in the applicant's own name, an Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and a bank account held solely in her name that is Aadhaar-seeded and enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer. The FAQ says the Aadhaar and bank details should match. Where names or other relevant details differ, ask the appropriate authority or bank to correct the record before expecting a successful transfer.
Printed forms are available free at Anganwadi centres and Child Development Project Officer offices. The public FAQ directs women to submit completed applications at Common Service Centres or Ama Seba Kendras and says submission there is also free. It describes biometric e-KYC assistance at service centres. Retain the acknowledgement generated after the application is submitted.
The FAQ says an income certificate is not required and instead refers to a signed family-income self-declaration. Applicants must provide accurate information: the guidelines permit termination and recovery of benefits where ineligibility is discovered. A declaration therefore records the applicant's circumstances; it does not replace official verification or create an entitlement on its own.
2026-27 instalments and help with a rejected application
The public FAQ says previous applicants do not need to apply again for the next financial year. It also says new applicants found eligible for 2026-27 receive two instalments for that financial year. That wording does not promise payment immediately after submission or establish a special Diwali instalment. The regular schedule names Rakhi Purnima and International Women's Day, 8 March.
For an adverse decision or discrepancy, the FAQ identifies the portal's grievance mechanism and support through the CDPO office. The department's scheme overview confirms the annual support and bank-transfer basis. Ask for the recorded reason before seeking correction, and use 14678 for scheme assistance.
