Skoda's India price list now includes the Kushaq Sportline with the 1.5-litre TSI engine and seven-speed DSG at Rs 16.99 lakh ex-showroom. That gives buyers a lower-priced route to this powertrain than the current Prestige and Monte Carlo versions, without establishing a discount on either of those trims.

Prices as of 13 October 2026, 06:00 IST, put the Prestige 1.5 DSG at Rs 18.99 lakh and the Monte Carlo 1.5 DSG at Rs 19.19 lakh. The Sportline is therefore Rs 2 lakh below Prestige and Rs 2.20 lakh below Monte Carlo, using the same current official price list.

Where Sportline fits in the 1.5-litre range

The range has expanded since Skoda's 21 March launch announcement, which offered the 1.5 DSG only in Prestige and Monte Carlo. The current Kushaq model page explicitly lists the Sportline 1.5 DSG. An exact official introduction date for the added combination has not been stated in the material available.

This distinction matters when interpreting the Rs 16.99 lakh figure. It is the price of an additional engine-and-trim combination, rather than evidence that the price of an existing Prestige or Monte Carlo has been cut. Comparing an older launch list with today's broader range can otherwise produce a misleading savings claim.

Within Sportline itself, the 1.0-litre automatic is listed at Rs 15.89 lakh, making the 1.5 DSG Rs 1.10 lakh dearer. The Sportline 1.0 manual is Rs 14.89 lakh. All are ex-showroom prices; the amount payable after local charges and chosen additions needs a city-specific quotation.

Skoda's official price checker also lists the Classic+ 1.0 manual at Rs 10.69 lakh and the automatic at Rs 13.04 lakh. Those entry figures should not be confused with the cost of the Sportline's larger engine. Buyers comparing advertised starting prices need to keep the exact powertrain and transmission attached to each amount.

The engine difference goes beyond the badge

The 1.5 TSI is rated at 110 kW and 250 Nm and is paired with a seven-speed DSG. Skoda lists active cylinder technology and disc brakes on all four wheels for this powertrain. Those are the relevant mechanical details for the Sportline 1.5 comparison, rather than features borrowed from a different Kushaq trim.

The 1.0 TSI produces 85 kW and 178 Nm. Its transmission choices are a six-speed manual and an eight-speed torque-converter automatic. The Sportline 1.0 automatic and 1.5 DSG therefore use different engines and different automatic gearboxes; the price gap does not buy merely a change in exterior finish.

Skoda's March announcement quoted ARAI fuel-efficiency figures of 18.72 km/l for the 1.5 DSG, 19.09 km/l for the 1.0 automatic and 19.66 km/l for the 1.0 manual. These test figures provide another comparison between the powertrains, rather than a guarantee of everyday economy.

Sportline's appearance includes black exterior detailing and 17-inch black alloy wheels. Skoda's March range announcement described six airbags, LED lighting, alloy wheels, a sunroof, automatic climate control, a rear wiper and a defogger as standard equipment across the range.

That does not mean every feature shown on a top-spec Kushaq belongs to Sportline. The precise specification supplied with the order should be checked before assuming a panoramic roof, massage-seat equipment or another Prestige or Monte Carlo feature is included. The current price listing alone cannot settle every equipment comparison.

Ownership cover and the final quote

Skoda's Super Care package, described at the March launch, includes a four-year or 1,00,000 km vehicle warranty and four years of roadside assistance. It also includes four labour-free services over two years or 30,000 km. Labour-free servicing is not a promise that all parts, lubricants and consumables cost nothing.

The same announcement lists a three-year paint warranty and six-year corrosion warranty, with paid vehicle-warranty extension available up to eight years. Buyers should obtain the applicable terms and service schedule with the quotation, particularly if an extended package is included in a dealer offer.

No nationwide stock count or delivery waiting period accompanies the current Sportline 1.5 listing. Confirm the exact variant, model-year stock and expected delivery before treating the price as an immediately available local purchase. Dalimss News has also covered XUV 3XO variant-specific safety-rating coverage and Hyundai Exter's current price range, where matching the quoted amount to the right version is equally necessary.
