NEW DELHI: Qubo lists InstaView, its video doorphone package, at Rs 15,990 including tax. The product page presents the system as a way to answer visitors through a home screen as well as the app. It lists free installation, but buyers should establish the installation arrangements for their address before treating the order as a finished entrance setup.
| Listed package | Price | What to separate |
|---|---|---|
| InstaView, Black | Rs 15,990 | Doorphone system |
| Cloud subscription | Paid, separate | Do not assume it is included in hardware price |
Price as of 1 November 2026, 00:39 IST. The page displays one InstaView package price, rather than a priced list of storage or screen variants. Its navigation also offers Video Doorbell Pro, which is a separate product. This report does not treat those navigation choices as interchangeable InstaView configurations.
A screen changes the household routine
A dedicated indoor screen gives this category a different purpose from a doorbell used only through a phone. Think of a home where the person nearest the entrance does not carry the account holder's mobile. The useful question is whether that person can see and answer the visitor comfortably from the intended screen position, without searching for someone else's handset.
That question should shape the installation discussion. Walk through the route from the kitchen, bedroom or sitting area to the screen. Consider where a resident would naturally look when the bell rings. Putting the display wherever a spare socket happens to exist can defeat the convenience the package is supposed to add.
Qubo specifies a 3MP camera with 2K (1296p) resolution and a 140-degree field of view. The product comparison shows the InstaView arrangement supporting wall and table placement. Those details describe the listed system; they do not establish that the camera will see around the recess of a particular apartment entrance.
Check the entrance as a scene
Before fixing a position, identify what the picture must include. A visitor's face, the approach to the door and a parcel placed near the threshold can occupy different parts of the frame. Ask the installer to show the actual view from the intended location. This is especially useful where a corridor turns sharply or the door sits behind a grille.
The page lists two-way talk, person detection, daily visitor logs and optional continuous recording. These serve different jobs. Speaking to someone at the door is a live interaction; finding a visit later is a retrieval task. During setup, try both activities rather than assuming that a successful conversation proves the recording arrangement is ready.
For storage, Qubo lists a microSDXC slot supporting up to 1TB and a paid cloud option. Default multi-user access is listed for two users, extendable to five through a premium cloud subscription. A family should settle who needs access and what history it wants before choosing an ongoing plan. Hardware price alone cannot resolve that decision.
Treat power and placement as part of the job
The camera specification lists 5V/2A power and an IP66 rating. The outdoor camera's rating should not be transferred to every component in a doorphone package. Keep the indoor screen's placement discussion separate from the exposed entrance unit, and ask how the power connection will be finished at the doorway.
Our Qubo Video Doorbell Pro 2K price: Rs 8,990 covers the separately listed doorbell. The Qubo InstaView supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz: plan the entrance link addresses network layout, while the Qubo Smart Plug 16A vs 10A price: 10A starts lower at Rs 899 offers a useful reminder to discuss monitoring controls with everyone sharing a home. Each product has its own settings.
The distinctive cost here is the doorphone package, rather than an isolated camera specification. A useful handover should leave residents able to answer a visitor, locate a saved visit and explain which access or storage features depend on a subscription. Ask for those demonstrations while the installation can still be adjusted.
For an apartment, include other residents in that demonstration. The person who orders the system may understand the app immediately, while the person who usually answers the door may depend entirely on the indoor screen. Both experiences matter at handover.
