NEW DELHI: NIOS's official results portal lists Secondary and Senior Secondary On Demand Examination results for exams held from 1 to 15 September 2026, with a declaration date of 27 October 2026. Candidates from that batch should use the On Demand Examination section and its “Check Result” link. This entry concerns the named September ODE batch, not a declaration for the October public examination.

The entry was checked on the official NIOS results home page on 7 November 2026 at 21:51 IST. The session label and the actual dates of the ODE examinations appear together. Candidates should match both with their examination record rather than assuming that the word “April” means the result belongs only to an examination taken in April.

How to check the NIOS September ODE result

Open the results home page and locate “On Demand Examination Result”. Read the batch dates printed beneath the Secondary and Senior Secondary heading. Then select the Check Result link attached to that section. Starting from the labelled section is useful because the same home page also contains public examination results and other programmes.

The result form opened from that link is headed “Academic Examination Result”. It asks for Enrollment Number and Regional Centre Code, and its instruction also calls for a captcha. Enter your own details, complete the captcha shown on the page and use Submit. Reset is available if you need to clear the entries.

Keep the enrolment record and regional centre details beside you before opening the form. A study centre identifier and a regional centre code should not be assumed to be interchangeable. If you are unsure of the code, verify it against your official learner record instead of repeatedly trying numbers from another candidate's result.

After submitting, confirm that the displayed record belongs to you and relates to the examination you took. Save the result page or use the browser's print option for a personal copy. This guide verifies the public portal and its checking steps; an individual learner's marks can be known only after the candidate accesses the correct record.

Which NIOS result has actually been declared?

The home page separates Public Examination Result from On Demand Examination Result. Its public examination panel refers to the April/May 2026 examinations, with Senior Secondary and Secondary declaration dates of 4 June and 13 June respectively. Those entries should not be presented as an October examination result update.

Likewise, the ODE panel names a specific September date range. It does not establish the status of every September batch or every later ODE examination. If your examination dates fall outside 1 to 15 September, check the relevant official entry rather than treating a “2026 result” headline as confirmation for your batch.

NIOS ODE rechecking and re evaluation fees

The On Demand panel also links to a Re-check/Re-evaluate On-demand exam result page. That form asks for a 12 digit enrolment number. Its published table lists ODE rechecking at Rs 400 per subject and re evaluation at Rs 1,200 per subject for both Secondary and Senior Secondary, with Rs 50 as an online processing fee.

The same page displays a separate public examination fee table, where the re evaluation amount differs. Use the row for On Demand Examination when reviewing the listed charges. These are the rates displayed at the check time above; confirm the amount and available service in your own application before making a payment.

The presence of a fee table does not by itself confirm that every candidate or every old result is currently eligible to apply. Follow the batch specific instructions and the options made available for your enrolment number. Do not pay through a link supplied by an unofficial result page.

Result correction and review are separate routes

The home page also carries result correction guidelines. That document explicitly concerns Secondary and Senior Secondary public examinations. It describes issues such as practical, TMA or transfer of credit marks missing from a result, and a theory subject marked absent. Its scope should not automatically be extended to an ODE candidate.

A request to review assessed marks and a request to correct a missing component address different problems. Identify what is wrong in your record first, then consult the official instructions for that examination route. Keep the downloaded result, examination details and any application receipt together so the issue remains clear.

For background on this examination route, read our NIOS On Demand eligibility and booking guide. Our NIOS transfer of credit explainer addresses a different part of the learner record, while the official NCERT download guide can help with general study resources. None replaces the batch label on the result portal.
